Ye Ling shrugged and pretended to walk toward the checkout counter.

Ning Ruoxi stomped her foot in a fit of pique and grabbed Ye Ling. After glancing around to make sure no one was watching, she stood on her tiptoes and gave him a quick peck on the cheek, like a little chick pecking at rice.

"There, happy now?"

Ning Ruoxi puffed out her cheeks, her big eyes wide as she glared at the bad boy in front of her.

A satisfied, brilliant smile spread across Ye Ling’s face. He turned and took Ning Ruoxi’s hand, pulling the girl toward the second floor.

Once on the second floor, Ye Ling grabbed a shopping cart and began pushing it as he browsed the supermarket with Ning Ruoxi.

As soon as Ning Ruoxi entered the snack aisle, her eyes lit up.

"Ooh, potato chips! I want them!"

"Jell-O! I want that too!"

"And Oreos!"

"Yogurt!"

Ning Ruoxi seemed to transform into a little hamster, constantly grabbing snacks from the shelves and tossing them into the shopping cart.

Ning Ruoxi immediately pouted, her face a mask of displeasure.

’This guy! He promised he’d buy me snacks if I just gave him a kiss, but now he’s putting them back as fast as I can grab them?’
