"Get it ready as soon as possible... And send it to the upper floor," looking toward the manager, she didn’t hesitate to place her order with a smile.

"I will get it ready as soon as possible," Lifting his head the manager muttered these words.

She nodded in appreciation as the manager signaled the waiter to get her meal ready as soon as possible. He hadn’t said anything verbally, but the waiter understood it all well.

The waiter entered the kitchen area with hurried steps. Finding the chef in charge he quickly informed him about the situation.

Sigh!

The waiter sighed in relief only after getting the assurance that the dishes would be prepared quickly. He wasn’t afraid of the girl; in fact, he found her quite polite given her position as the heiress.

What anyone, including him, feared was her father—the president of this entire business, Kruger Tressy.

The waiter was about to walk back to take care of the other guest when he realized something, ’If the chef were to focus her dishes, won’t that make the other guests’ lunch a bit late?’

Having this question in his mind, he walked out of the room trying to get beside the manager. Finding that the daughter of their owner was still there, he kept his mouth shut and began to wait for her to move away.

She did so with a slow pace. Her focus was entirely elsewhere as she continued to walk toward the stairs that led to the first floor. The first floor was the place where only the most important guests were served.

"Lost in thought, she was strolling when something caught her attention. Forgetting everything, she gazed in a particular direction, where she noticed something she hadn’t felt in quite a while.

A frown appeared on her beautiful face as he noticed the gaze of a man adorned with long white hair, ’Why is he eyeing me that much with hate... is he here to assassinate me or something like that.’

"If it were lust, she would have understood, but bloodlust—that, she was oblivious to. She was about to walk toward him to clear any confusion but stopped when she heard her friends calling from the stairs.

The moment her gaze left the man she forgot about him. With a calm step, she continued and reached the stairs. A shiver ran down her spine as she noticed something.

Instantly, she looked down in a certain direction. She couldn’t pinpoint why she got the feeling, especially since nobody seemed to be looking at her. The only person directly in her line of sight was occupied in conversation with the waiter.

She got distracted once again as the sound of her friends reached her ears, "Naina, what are you doing there... Come; there is something here that you should know."

"Coming..." Saying these words, she completely got cut off from the first floor and began chatting with her group.

She was about to continue her chatting, but something stole her attention... along with her body.

Boooooommmm!

Before she could process what was happening, her head got obliterated into tiny pieces.

"Ahhhhhh!!!!"

Covered in the flesh and blood of their friend, the girls around her could only scream. Their screams didn’t last long either, as one after another, each of them was killed by metal spikes that were coming from below as well.

Before anyone could notice the abnormalities all the people present on the first floor became headless. The holes that had formed due to metal spikes got filled with earth on their own as well.

On the ground floor...

Sigh!

A smile appeared on Dhruv’s face as he placed his hand back on his thighs. He was about to resume his lunch plans as if nothing had happened, but that wasn’t the case... was it?

Something had happened that shouldn’t have happened...

Ahhhhhhh!

A scream escaped his mouth as Dhruv instinctively clutched his head, trying his hardest to block it from exploding. Before he could react toward the thing that was causing him this... foams began to ooze from his mouth, the pain escalating to its maximum limit in just a second.

Ahhhhhh!

"What happened... Dhruv, are you al—" Before his mother could finish the sentence, everything around them began to scatter.

Before he could comprehend what was going on, he was once again floating in the white void.

A white tentacle spawned from the void. The source of its origin appeared to be the man floating in the void himself. Without waiting for anything it moved toward the head and began to suck everything out of him.

Opening his eyes, Dhruv found himself sitting on a chair... food was served around him. A smile appeared on his face as he found his family enjoying the meal.

Swallowing the bite, he turned and looked in front of him. He was about to ask his mother about the food but stopped after noticing someone entering the restaurant...

His eyes widened to their limit as the temperature around him began to increase. Looking in front of him, he lifted his hand... Without a second thought, he whispered... "Enhanced Fire Ball.."

A ball of blue fire left his hand as it moved toward the target...

Before the fire could melt the target.... Everything shattered into nothingness.

The food is right mo..." His words stopped in his mouth as Dhruv noticed someone entering the restaurant...

"Enhanced Metal Spear"

Noticing someone entering the restaurant Dhruv opened his mouth, "Serrated balde.."

He whispers, "Metal bullets.."

After an unknown amount of time...

"Okay, there won’t be any problem with that..." After listening to that, there might be a few-minute delay in their meal. Dhruv quickly dismissed the matter regarding his food and focused on something else.

’She is here... what should I do... Should I get out... Should I kill her... But that won’t change anything...’ Dhruv gulped a mouthful of saliva as all sorts of thoughts began to appear in his mind.

Sigh!!

Eventually, he accepted defeat, ’There is no point in doing anything... I just have to spend some time with my family and get back home as soon as possible...’

Knowing that no matter what he does, the reality won’t change, he decided to spend the precious time he has with his family.
