Born in apocalypse

Just as Dhruv said those words, the creation stone exploded into many tiny purple fragments... and started floating in front of him. They floated there for some time, after a while, it was as if some force was acting on them, and they started getting attracted together, forming a purple ball the size of a fist.

The ball hovered for a while, then headed towards Dhruv's head.

First, he wanted to resist the invading ball but decided against it. And let the ball enter his head peacefully.

For some time, nothing happened, and Dhruv thought he had done something wrong. But as the clock approached the fifth second mark, his head started burning like crazy..

"Ahhhhhhh!" He kneeled on the ground as a sharp pain seared through his head.

At first, the pain was only in the head, but after a moment, it started sliding down his throat reaching his chest..

'O..hhh!...no...nooo...'

He already had a feeling what was about to happen and he was right...As his chest also started burning like crazy, increasing his agony twofold.

But things didn't stop there as it moved once again, moving from his chest, reaching both arms, then traveling through his stomach, and finally stopping after reaching his feet.

"Ahhh! F..fuck! It finally stops," he muttered..

But he had spoken too soon, as the energy started traveling back the same way it had come..

"Ohh! FUUUUCK." He passed out due to all the pain he was going through.

After a while, he got up from his nap and found himself drenched in sweat and blood..

"Blood?!... where it came from..?"

He got scared after seeing the blood and checked all over himself but didn't manage to find any injuries. After seeing a bloody trail near his body, he calms down, as it was the blood of the dead body.

He got up and opened his status window in hope of finding his new ability... After taking a look, he found the notification he had missed due to his nap.

The notification was from the cosmos.. Congratulating him for the new ability he had learned.

[You have learned the ability True Fusion]

'So this is the skill I got..'

Opening the description of the ability, he found nothing fancy, as the description repeated exactly the words he had said into the creation stone.

[True Fusion: Ability to fuse any and everything]

'Now the real question is how to use this ability...'

Just as the thought of using the skill appeared in his head, a new and vast amount of information started collecting in his head, giving him insight about how to use the skill. Apart from how to use the ability, there was much more information in it.

A moment later, when he absorbs all the knowledge greedily...He knew that the pain was worth it.

"Interesting.. There is so much I can do with this ability...

He was surprised to find out that he could do so much more with this ability than he had thought at the time of its creation. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

His mind started to wonder about the possibility... He could promise that he could hear the sound of his heart throbbing loudly in excitement. That's when his gaze moved toward the pile of dead bodies, and he got a crazy idea..

'What if I use fusion on these corpses?'

Step by Step he began moving toward the pile.. His steps stopped all of a sudden. As he got an even crazier idea than his previous one..

"What if I use a small part of my soul during the fusion? ... wouldn't that make the resulting fusion a crazy strong person instead of a strong dead body?"

He knew that he could use a part of his or anyone's soul in the process of fusion to make a sentient being, even after using the inanimate objects. This knowledge, of course, comes from the information he got after learning Fusion.

Dhruv now wanted to try his crazy idea...

With a beating heart, he crossed the final steps, and now the distance between him and the pile was just about a meter.

He put his hand in front of the pile of corpses and said,

"Fuse"

After announcing the words, a strange energy began to gather in front of his hand.

He knew this was the moment where he had to command the energy, what does it have to fuse.

He sent a mental signal to the energy that it has to fuse all the corpses. After sending the signal comes the moment if he wants to add his soul or not into the energy.

He didn't know how or why.. but now he knows the process of splitting a part of his soul and how to add it to the energy... So he started doing that.

But knowing how to do it doesn't mean he has full mastery over it.. he was still a newbie after all.

he started flowing his soul into the energy... but something suddenly changed as his soul started getting sucked into the energy... as his soul started to get sucked a crazy amount of pain started washing over him.

But at this point he was already getting familiar with pain so he didn't panic and started controlling his soul... after a minute or two he finally managed to get control over his soul and stopped himself from getting sucked dry.

But it was already late at this point, as almost thrice the amount of soul got sucked then he had intended.

The color of the energy started changing from purple to white as it began to get bigger and bigger.

After reaching the size of a party balloon, it stopped getting bigger, signaling Dhruv that it was time to cast the spell..

Dhruv looked at the energy, thinking how beautiful it looked... He cast the spell.

The ball of energy traveled towards its intended target, enveloping it.

The radius of the energy began expanding from all sides, covering all the corpses within it.

'Now.. What.?' he thought.

It had been five minutes, and nothing had changed. The white dome was still present, covering all the dead bodies.. And now Dhruv started panicking, but he couldn't do anything except wait.

When an hour had passed, the dome slowly started to subside, and a sound was heard in Dhruv's ear...

The sound of a heartbeat...
