Consciousness returned like a hammer striking an anvil inside my skull. The pain wasn’t ordinary - it felt like something foreign was trying to claw its way through my brain, creating a symphony of agony that made me want to retreat back into darkness.

I squeezed my eyes tighter, hoping to block out the torment, but that only amplified the chaos. This wasn’t just physical pain. Something else was happening, something that made my stomach twist with dread.

Then the invasion began. Emotions that didn’t belong to me crashed through my mind like a violent tide. Memories, feelings, thoughts that were completely alien yet somehow familiar flooded my consciousness.

"Get out!" The scream tore from my throat with savage intensity. "Get out now! I despise you! Just go away!"

The raw force of my anguish, the unfiltered spike of my agony, finally broke through his composure. He jerked back as if I’d struck him, his jaw clenching tight. Without speaking, he spun around and strode from the room, closing the door with deliberate quiet.

The moment I heard the lock click, my legs gave out. I collapsed to the floor, pulling my knees against my chest as sobs wracked my body.
