THE RISE OF AN OMEGA

Kira's POV

I couldn't believe my ears; I could stay here with them for as long as I wanted.

After narrating my ordeal and my life at my former pack to Ryker. He was quiet for a while.

In my head, I was thinking about the numerous ways he could bring harm to me after finding out that I was from one of his rival packs but to my greatest surprise he allowed me to stay

In his words, "Kira..." he called my name with a smile on his face "You are allowed to stay here for as long as you want; henceforth, you are one of us now, and we are your people."

The moment I heard him say it, tears fell down my cheeks. I couldn't help but collapse on my knees, thanking him and showing him how grateful I was for not being harmed.

"See to it that she gets a place to lay her head for the night, by tomorrow morning we will find somewhere suitable for her to stay," Ryker said facing Marcus

Marcus bowed his head in honour "I will do just that My Alpha" He said

Ryker left the garden, I was left with Marcus.

"Follow me," Marcus said

I followed behind him; he led me back to meet Clara, the doctor. He asked her if I could stay the night at her place saying they would find somewhere else for me to stay In the morning.

"What happened, what's the alpha decision?" Clara asked I could hear the curiosity in her voice

"She's one of us now," he said and then left the room

I still couldn't believe that Ryker had agreed that I stay with them; I felt like he was joking with me; I expected him to think that I might be a spy sent by Asha to come infiltrate his territory.

Emillia politely asked me to come over so she could check my injuries if they were getting healed.

I moved closer to her, she pulled out one of the plaster, and to my greatest surprise, there was nothing there, not even a scar; she pulled another and the same thing.

"Wow!" She exclaimed

"What did you use to treat me, why are all the injuries all gone."

"It wasn't me, Kira, it was you. I only just used vitamins to enhance the rate at which your body heals itself.... but honestly, I wasn't expecting this fast kind of healing." She said

All my life, I had never healed from any injury. Even when given a lot of vitamins to help, I still couldn't heal myself. I had to go through the normal human method of treatment just so I could treat my injuries.

This was my first time experiencing something like this; I was confused.

"You heal fast, Kira", Emilia said as she removed all the band-aids and plasters.

"Could you keep this between us?"

She looked at me suspiciously "Why, it's not like it's a bad thing.... or are you a spy."

"No, no, no, " I paused, my expression changed from a smiley face to a worried face.

"You can talk to me Kira" Emilia assured me

"This is my first time experiencing something close to a wolf's ability...."

"It's alright, it's fine, your secret is safe with me," She said smiling

"Thank you."

"Though you are all healed up, you still need to rest well, so please go and sleep" She stood up, arranged her medical kits, and went to keep them.

She came back showing me where I could lay for the night.

I laid down with an eye open, I was scared that someone might just come and take me away to kill me.

I watched as Emilia walked to the light switch to turn it off. She went out of the room, and it took a while before she came back.

It made me wonder if they were plotting something behind my back, maybe discussing how they were going to split my bones and flesh between every member of the pack.

After a while, I heard the sound of the door opening quietly; immediately, I closed my eyes, and she turned on the light. It felt like she was inspecting the room, or I felt she was checking if I was asleep.

"Wake up sleepy head" I heard Emilia's voice

I slept off; I couldn't believe I slept off; I planned to stay up all night, but I didn't know when I slept off. I guess I felt a kind of peace I hadn't felt in a long while.

The next information that came out from her mouth made me shocked, she told me that Alpha Asher had gotten a place for me to stay.

"A place for me to stay?" I asked surprised

"Yes so stand up and freshen up."

"This is your house," Ryker said

I entered it and found out that the room was very comfortable for me, I liked it and thanked him for everything

"Let's take a stroll," Ryker said

"Take a stroll?" I asked surprised

'Why would he want to take a stroll with me'

"Yes let's take a stroll I need to discuss something with you"

He ordered the wolf warriors not to follow him. We began to stroll away from the house they had shown me.

"I noticed that I haven't been getting signs from you"

"What do you mean by that alpha ryker?" I asked, pretending not to know what he was talking about. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚

"Oh please, Just Ryker is fine," he said smiling

No doubt he had a killer smile.

"Okay, just Ryker," I said teasing him

He smiled "so tell me what's wrong with your wolf,"

I took in a deep breath before replying to him "Honestly I don't know what's wrong with me, but I haven't manifested any signs of powers" I lied

"Are you sure, not even a healing?"

"Nothing of such" I replied

I noticed he was weirdly looking at me.

"I see your injuries are completely covered up."

I smiled "Thanks to Emilia. I Don't know how she did it, but I got healed up completely."

We talked a little about some other things before he finally released me to go home, later that day I saw other wolves come in with other stuff I needed, I felt something I had never felt before
