Mind Demon's Path of Domination

Clara quirked her eyebrows. "Are you single?"

"Yes, I am single and ready to mingle," Ryan said self-righteously.

"I don’t really believe you are single," Clara said dubiously. "I met you for the first time today and you became touchy like it was nothing. No way you are single." She could still feel the passionate taste of his tongue. He had kissed her so skillfully.

Ryan wrapped his hand around her waist and made her lead the way. He rather liked Clara. She was confident, talented, beautiful, and even had a rebellious personality. She was exactly his type. She was clearly interested in him, too—someone must have put in a good word. That said, who was she working under at the moment?

Which of his mentors had put in the good word?

He asked her: "Who are you working under?"

"Oh, it’s the Succubus. She pays me good money. But honestly?" She smiled proudly. "I don’t need to work for anyone with my background. My grandfather is an Upper Demon, and my Uncle is a Demon King. Both of them dote on me, too. So I don’t need to work for my needs."

"Then why are you putting your life at risk?" Ryan asked curiously.

She seemed troubled. "I am not allowed to leave my family’s territory without protection. That Succubuss promised my Uncle to protect me, but we ended up in this place due to an accident. Even my Uncle shouldn’t know that I am in such danger."

Ryan fell silent.

The buff man, the blade demon’s subordinate, followed them silently. He was incredibly bitter. How could he not see the quickly developing romance in front of him? Were relationships this easy? Was he just not handsome enough?

At first, Clara was obviously not too touchy with Ryan even though they started with a kiss. But now, she didn’t even mind that she was walking while holding hands. They had unknowingly become something more than strangers with a single meeting.

"How old are you?" Clara suddenly asked.

"Hm, my situation is a bit special. My physical age is lower than my mental age."

"Oh, something like a possessed body or a reincarnation method?"

Ryan was surprised, but he didn’t show it. "Yes, something like that."

"Mentally, how old are you?"

"Older than twenty, but not by much. What about you?"

"Twenty-three. I am also a Maverick like you by the way. Don’t underestimate me because I am just Tier 1, I’ve killed Pinnacle Tier 2s before. My Wormhole bloodline is no joke."

Conversing idly, they soon reached a place with a huge tree with wide branches.

"The Demon Suppression Birthland is at the crown of this tree," Clara said. "If you want to go there, you have to fly. But the wind there is dangerous, so one must be nimble at flight or they are up for something really dangerous."

"Carry me there, then," Ryan said confidently.

Clara didn’t hesitate and carrying Ryan like a princess, began to fly to the tree’s crown. Mid-flight, she noticed how Ryan had grown unprecedentedly silent. His forehead was soaked with sweat as he seemed to be struggling against something.

Ryan gritted his teeth. It was the curse of murdering people with Star Fever!

It had grown incredibly strong now.

You killed me! You killed me before I could shine! I lost my chance because of you!

"Stay still," Clara said, flying between sharp winds nimbly.

Ryan calmed down and admired the beauty without disturbing her. At the same time, he noticed that the buff man had an even easier time than Clara.

"You called yourself the clone of a Great Being," Landing on the tree’s crown, Clara said with disdain. "But you can’t even cross this windflow region by yourself. Aren’t you too useless?"

Did she overestimate him? But she felt distinctly that she hadn’t.

Ryan made her face him with his palm. "If my main body had been here, this would have been nothing. Even with the clone, I have the confidence to do it myself. But enjoying your embrace is much better than struggling through the wind."

"Prove it," she said.

Ryan smiled. "What’s the reward?"

Clara was decisive. "You can become my boyfriend. My clan rules state that I have to have a kid before I am 25 with someone more talented than me, and if you are indeed that talented, I don’t mind becoming mates with you."

"Fine." Ryan jumped down from her embrace and looked around the tree’s crown.

The area was filled with elephant-sized humanoid infants. They were demons with an archaic aura, and even standing close to them, Ryan felt an innate sense of suppression. But it was just a feeling. These infants were stillborn Demons with a legendary bloodline.

Now it was time to start his test—can he absorb their bloodline?

Ryan moved closer to an infant and calmly poked a small hole in its skin. He could see drops of blood trickling down—it was silver in color. Ryan planned to store the bloodline in a container he had bought, which he planned to fuse with himself once he met the mentors. He didn’t know how to do that, after all.

But there was no need. When his bloodline-less body came in contact with the blood, it was as if a bucket of sand met water for the first time. The blood sank into his skin and Ryan groaned.

Clara stood at his side curiously as Ryan’s body started changing.

His hair became a reflective silver, and his eyes—which were already silver—became entirely mirror-like. His wings became metallic silver, too.

And as his clothes were torn apart, Clara watched with interest as his backbone jutted out of his skin a bit. The small bones also had a metallic tinge to them.

Inside his body, his blood had completely become silver too!

Ryan took a deep breath as his weakness all but vanished. He could feel strength coursing through him.

He calculated in his mind. Earlier, he had a 0.1 level Physique, but now, it should have reached 1.0. The same went with his mind.

Physique: 1.

Mind: 1.

Ryan smiled and turned to look at Clara with his mesmerizing silver eyes. He also awakened three demonic tricks. All of which was rather unique.

"Did you just absorb the bloodline?" Clara asked with disbelief. "The Demon Suppression Bloodline?"

Ryan ignored the question and looked at the buff servant. "Give us some space," he said, making the servant frown.

"I am supposed to protect y—"

"Leave," Ryan said with absolute authority.

Demon Suppression Method: Blood Authority.

Anyone with a demonic bloodline would feel an innate sense of suppression when this ability was used. Even ordinary words would feel like an imperial decree.

The Buff man felt absolute fear in his heart and subconsciously obeyed. Only when he was half a step away from leaving did he suddenly stop with a frown. But then, he sighed and left. He had no business here anyway.

Once alone, Ryan snatched Clara’s hand and brought her to a cave-like structure. It was a hole into the giant tree they were on.

"What are you going to do?" She asked with a slight frown.

Ryan didn’t say anything and took her left hand, then he placed it on the wall. She didn’t resist. He then took her right hand and placed it on the wall too.

"Spread your legs apart a bit," he said.

She frowned, but agreed, spreading her legs apart a bit with both arms supporting her against the wall. He came and stood behind her.

"Now wha–" She froze, feeling a cool hand wrap around her waist and enter her pants. In that second which she took to react, Ryan’s fingers were already busy with making her excited.

"Mmm..." She groaned and stared at him with a bit of disbelief.

"What?" he asked, inserting one finger deep into her.

Gasping, she replied, "This is good." She looked down, eyes closed tight as she felt for his ministrations down there.

Ryan smirked at how easily this domineering woman got wet. It was as if her body had been waiting all this time.
