The moment the spirit of the hero Elban touched the handle of the black sword, bloodied with Victor’s blood, a small glow occurred, like the brief spark when light touches the surface of water.

In the next instant, the glove on Elban’s right hand ceased to be translucent and this lack of translucency spread all over his arm, then all over his body.

From one second to the next, Elban became tangible and his mulatto skin and black hair were no longer so pale.

"Do you see what I see?" Pyaxu asked, hallucinating, as he saw Elban start to raise the sword stuck in the ground, holding it even though he was a spirit.

The Riggilo cleric was dumbfounded, but a few words escaped his mouth in whispers. "I think so..."

Orie rubbed his hands over his eyes to make sure what he was seeing was real.

Finally, the demon Gravisk was also very surprised, but unlike the others who didn’t understand what the hell Victor had done to make it possible for Elban to be corporeal again, Gravisk knew very well.

"HAHA! You, aged human, you’re crazy, aren’t you?" Gravisk pointed its right index finger at Victor and asked. "All right, it doesn’t matter, you’ll be the first one I kill!"

At the tip of this demon’s finger, a dark and massive sphere of energy began to form and grow large very quickly.

Victor stared at Gravisk with a contempt that made even his tired eyes glaze over. "You’re still pretty haughty for someone in this situation, don’t you think?" Victor challenged.

Gravisk let out a guttural laugh, its eyes sparking with malice. "You’re only human and you think I should fear you? The five of you together are no more of a threat than the sharpest splinter in a tree."

"That’s what we’re going to see!" Elban raised his sword from the ground, feeling the weight of the blade and the pulsating energy that surrounded it.

For the first time in a long time, a bead of sweat ran down the side of Elban’s face, and a mixture of excitement and thrill filled his thoughts.

’First I’m going to use my ’Feather’ skill!’ Elban thought. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺

With a determined smile, he propelled himself upwards in one agile leap. His body moved with the lightness of a dancer, and in mid-air Elban calibrated his sword, positioning it close to his abdomen. His muscles contracted in preparation for the movement and with a fluid lunge Elban moved quickly forward, the blade slicing through the air with a sharp hiss.

In the midst of his aerial assault, he still dodged Gravisk’s energy sphere in mid-air.

Elban was so light and had such natural movements that he literally seemed to be able to fly.

His blow was clean, seeking to hit Gravisk’s neck to end it as quickly as possible. The impact was powerful, but the sword met the resistance of a stone staff that Gravisk quickly formed to protect itself.

"Just as I said, you pose no threat!" Gravisk shouted proudly to Elban as their weapons clashed.

"I wouldn’t be so sure!" Victor said, suddenly appearing at the feet of the demon who, because he was busy with Elban, had no chance to react when Victor struck its right foot, knocking it off with his sword.

Blood flew first, splashing against the elven barrier, and then Gravisk’s foot hit the barrier.

The air in the cave seemed to stagnate for a brief moment, as if everyone present had held their breath at Victor’s startling move.

Gravisk let out a roar of pain and fury. However, if a mere Blight as abnormal as an Aberrant had fierce regeneration, a demon would not be left behind. Where its foot had been, the same smoke that had previously formed its body and which was the true form of demons began to come out. Quickly, this smoke turned into another foot for it to use for support.

Despite this, the pain and damage were not canceled out.

"You... dared..." Gravisk snarled with its eyes burning like hellfire and focused its gaze and staff on Victor.

"Don’t get distracted, Gravisk!!!" Elban shouted and, with the agility of his ’Feather’ skill, took advantage of the gap created by Gravisk’s distraction.

Elban raised his sword above his head and his black sword turned the edge of the blade red, seeming to catch fire.

However, Gravisk’s eyes quickly returned to Elban and it spun the large stone staff, creating a strong gale that hurled Elban against the red barrier.

Pyaxu and Orie, although initially stunned by the speed of the battle, recovered and joined in.

"We can’t just watch them fight..." Orie said.

So, the archer Orie placed an arrow on the bowstring, aimed at one of Gravisk’s eyes, pulled the bowstring and fired.

Even though Orie’s hands were slightly shaking, the arrow flew with precision and, as it was he and Pyaxu who had made the magic circle with the elven symbols, the arrow passed through the circle naturally.

However, although the arrow was making a clear path to hit Gravisk’s right eye, the demon’s right hand smashed it in the air and his gaze was immediately directed at Orie.

"Hmm! I almost forgot there are children watching!" Gravisk then opened its hand and dropped the bristles of the arrow. "Elban, you, as a great hero, should be ashamed that you’re being helped by these good-for-nothings."

Elban, who was getting up in pain after crashing hard into the barrier, looked back and saw that his collision had created some cracks in the barrier. He wiped the sweat running down his forehead and thought:

’This is a magical barrier, it wasn’t made to withstand many physical collisions. Luckily, Gravisk doesn’t seem to have realized this yet, but when it does, these boys will be in danger.’ Elban thought and looked at the others and Riggilo, who was struggling to maintain the sacred barrier.
