He extended the flowers like a gentleman. "My first time visiting, so these are for you. Grandpa said he wasn’t sure what you liked, so he told me to just pick something myself. I hope you like them."

Bai Su accepted the flowers, a little embarrassed, and quickly ushered him inside. "Thank you, I love them.

"Please, come in! I didn’t expect you so early, I haven’t prepared anything."

As she spoke, she went to find a vase to put the flowers in.

In the novel, he, Lu Tingyan, and Li Chenlin were two opposite extremes.

And there was no need to even talk about that psycho Li Chenlin.

Yelias smiled faintly. "It’s fine. Just go at your own pace."

Bai Su nodded and looked at him. "Why don’t you have a seat in the living room, then? I’ll go get the ingredients ready. Did you have breakfast before you came? Would you like something to eat?"

Yelias walked over to the sofa and sat down in the spot the old man usually took. "Don’t mind me, I’ve already had breakfast."

Seeing him sit in her grandfather’s usual spot, Bai Su paused for a second. After a moment’s thought, she decided to make him a cup of hot tea anyway. "Alrighty, then. Make yourself comfortable. It might be a little while before I’m done. Is it okay if we have lunch around 1 PM?"

Yelias nodded. "That’s fine."

Bai Su hadn’t expected him to come so soon.

If she had known in advance, she wouldn’t have opened the restaurant the next day.

Bai Su started prepping her ingredients and turned on the livestream.

’I have a general idea now. I know which angle to take to help him resolve his issues, but it will probably require him to be here often.’

The restaurant was as bustling as ever.

Bablo had brought his subordinates to help, and Kong Ji had come along as well.

His leg was well enough for him to walk now, and he was currently bustling in and out of her restaurant, an excited smile on his face.

He really was a stunningly handsome kid, and that cheerful, bright energy he had was incredibly endearing.

When Kong Ji saw her staring at him, his face turned a little red. "Susu, what is it?"

Bai Su smiled. "It’s nothing. Go on, get back to work."

"O-okay." Kong Ji couldn’t take her teasing look. Face flushing red, he clutched his tray and scurried away, only to realize he hadn’t taken the food. He rushed back, placed the dishes on his tray, and then hurried out again.
