"Mom? Are you in there?" Bai Xiaolang’s confused and nervous voice suddenly came from the cave entrance.

Bai Su’s body tensed instantly, and she raised her hands to push him away.

Lu Tingyan’s face immediately darkened, but he still remembered to grab the flustered little rabbit beside him to keep her from falling.

"Mom? I can smell you. Are you in there? Are you hurt? I’m coming in!" Bai Xiaolang’s voice was filled with worry, and it sounded like he was about to enter.

Bai Su hadn’t put her dress back on yet.

She cried out in a panic, "Don’t come in! I’ll be right out!"

Hearing her voice, Bai Xiaolang finally breathed a sigh of relief. "As long as you’re okay. I’ll wait for you at the entrance."

Bai Su gave a haphazard reply, quickly pulling on her dress and turning to leave.

But Lu Tingyan suddenly pulled her back.

Bai Su glared at him fiercely. "What now?"

Lu Tingyan rubbed his nose and took off his own military cloak, tying it around her. "The back of your dress is torn. Sorry."

But his apology didn’t seem very sincere.

Hearing this, Bai Su had no choice but to give up, wrapping herself in his military cloak and leaving.

After a few steps, she turned back in confusion. "Aren’t you leaving?"

Lu Tingyan gave her a deep look. "I still have a problem to take care of. You two go on ahead."

Bai Su quickly realized what he meant. Her face flushed, and she hastily turned and ran out.
