With so many people watching, Bai Su felt a little embarrassed. She reached up to ruffle his hair, trying to push him away slightly, when she suddenly heard a choked, suppressed sob.

Bai Su: "?"

’This huge wolf is actually crying in front of so many people?!’

She found it utterly fascinating and immediately tried to turn Lu Tingyan’s face toward her. "Let me see, let me see!"

Lu Tingyan: "...Don’t!"

A vein pulsed on Li Chenlin’s temple. He was so disgusted he wanted to slug him a couple of times.

He rolled his eyes and looked at the doctor. "You mean, her uterus was forcibly removed back then?"

The doctor nodded.

A dark look flashed in Li Chenlin’s eyes.

The timing was too coincidental. Her uterus was removed right after the four of them had joined forces to have her exiled.

’He couldn’t shake the unpleasant feeling that he’d been duped and used as a pawn.’

’It was very possible that Bai Su had also been a framed victim in the whole affair.’

Li Chenlin stared at the nearby Bai Su, his eyes filled with deep thought.

The doctor looked at Bai Su. "Miss Bai, we’ll need you to provide us with some information about the surgery so we can retrieve the files and verify the details. Do you remember which hospital performed the operation?"

Li Chenlin snapped impatiently from the side, "Are you an idiot? She didn’t even know her uterus had been removed. How the hell would she know which hospital did the surgery?"

The doctor was taken aback and didn’t dare to argue.

Both Lu Tingyan and Li Chenlin immediately sensed a conspiracy at play.

’Someone had made their mother suffer such a major loss behind her back. Of course, they had to investigate it thoroughly. An eye for an eye!’

Li Chenlin glanced at the two little ones whispering secretively to the side and remembered there was one more thing he hadn’t asked.

The doctor looked embarrassed. He had called several of his colleagues to discuss the matter and had researched the issue.

He glanced at the children hesitantly. "Um, should the children step out for this part? It might be a little... awkward."

Bai Su immediately guessed this was related to the orgy all those years ago. She nodded quickly and said decisively, "Yes!"

Lu Tingyan and Li Chenlin both looked at her.

Bai Su tried to act calm, but her face was beet red.

Li Chenlin’s lips curled into a wicked smirk. "I thought you didn’t remember what happened back then. What’s with the blushing?"

Bai Su glared at him. "I have amnesia, not brain damage! You think I can’t put two and two together?"

The two little ones were ushered out of the room.

The doctor looked at the two powerful men, awkwardly adjusting the glasses on his nose. "Well, it’s like this. Because Miss Bai’s reproductive capabilities are exceptionally strong, if she were to mate with multiple powerful males in a short period, it’s possible for the embryos to... exchange and recombine genetic material within her gestation sac."

In other words, if you take any one of the children and test them against any one of the potential fathers, the paternity test will show a biological link.

Because of the maternal influence within the womb, they all share a blood connection.

This is something only an extremely powerful mother would be capable of.

The doctor looked at Bai Su, a renewed flicker of excitement in his eyes.

Clearly, neither Lu Tingyan nor Li Chenlin wanted to reminisce about that ridiculous night. Once they understood the biological possibility, they didn’t press the issue.

After leaving the room, Lu Tingyan comforted Bai Su, his heart aching for her. "Susu, don’t worry. I’ll get to the bottom of this for you. I won’t let you suffer for nothing."

Bai Su nodded.

Lu Tingyan added, "Why don’t you move in with me for the time being? I’m worried about you being all alone on that mountain."

Li Chenlin suddenly pulled Bai Su into his arms. "What’s there to be worried about? I’m here."

Lu Tingyan stared at him warily. "You?"

Li Chenlin’s lips curled. "No one lays a hand on my people under my watch."

Lu Tingyan authoritatively gripped Bai Su’s wrist, trying to pull her back into his own embrace. "I believe you’re forgetting that this is my fiancée. Your concern isn’t needed."

Li Chenlin grabbed her other hand. "Why act like a stranger? She’s the mother of my child, after all. It’s my duty to protect her."

Lu Tingyan stared at him coldly.

Li Chenlin glared back darkly.

Their gazes clashed in midair, sparks flying.

Bai Su’s mouth twitched slightly. "What are you two doing?"

Bai Xiaolang pushed Lu Tingyan away.

Bai Xiaoshe pushed Li Chenlin away.

The two little ones protectively shielded Bai Su behind them like little adults. "You’re not allowed to monopolize our mom!"

Lu Tingyan looked at Li Chenlin with a sneer. "This is Federation territory. What makes you think you can compete with me here?"

He released a terrifying pressure, attempting to force his opponent to retreat.

Li Chenlin, not the least bit intimidated, met his pressure with an equal force of his own. "Such a rare treasure. Since your Federation clearly doesn’t value her, there are other places that will. At least if she comes with me to the Southern Country, she’ll be treated with the noble status she deserves, not abandoned in the wilderness."

The two little ones scowled at their respective so-called fathers, wanting nothing more than to slap them both across the face.

A mocking glint appeared in Lu Tingyan’s eyes. "You don’t understand anything. To think you can get between Susu and me... you’re dreaming!"

Li Chenlin shot back without holding back. "What I don’t understand is what’s so proud about sticking such a precious woman on a mountain and leaving her to fend for herself. You useless piece of trash, you don’t deserve her!"

The oppressive spiritual power radiating from the two men grew increasingly intense. Though they deliberately directed it away from Bai Su, the other people in the hospital corridor weren’t so lucky.

Many Beastmen tried to keep their distance but were still caught in the crossfire, clutching their heads and howling in agony as they rolled on the floor.

The terrifying pressure from a single Level 9 Beastman was more than enough for these bystanders to handle, let alone two of them!

The two powerful streams of spiritual power ground against each other, creating a vortex of wind that sent the hospital doors banging and caused all the glass to shatter.

The terrified Beastmen scrambled away in a panic, and the ground itself began to tremble violently.

Bai Su couldn’t take it anymore. She grabbed a trash can from the corner and brought it down on each of their heads. "That’s enough!"

BANG! BANG! With two loud thuds, the trash can dented, and the clash of spiritual power came to an abrupt halt.

Lu Tingyan and Li Chenlin both blurted out in unison, "You hit me for him?!"
