“I know why Hu Zi broke up with you. I’m not selling my farm shares. Where you came from you can go back to. You better not get married. I’m waiting for you two to break up.”

Ma Yan became furious instantly, pointing at her nose and demanding loudly.

Ma Yan lunged forward, about to slap Li Pan; she was on the brink of despair. It was hard enough to find a marriage prospect with such good conditions, and now it seemed to be slipping away. Liu Hu was adamant and ignoring her, which made her so anxious that she had to confront Li Pan.

Li Pan didn’t even move, and a vine wrapped around Ma Yan, hanging her upside down from a tree.

“Did Liu Hu not tell you that I’m a high-level Wood Element superpower user, and I’m ranked first in talent among Wood Element superpowers? What makes you think your family can outsmart me?”

She scoffed and then tossed the person out of the farm’s perimeter.

Ma Yan was thrown around until she saw stars, and it took her a good while to get up. Spitting, she cried and ran back home.

Liu Qian returned and encountered the fleeing Ma Yan at the door. She looked familiar, like someone she had seen before; she’d only met Ma Yan once, though.

“Who is that, crying and sniveling, did she have a fight?”

“That’s Ma Yan, your brother’s girlfriend. She came to buy my farm shares. Sister, do you know about this?”

Li Pan was a bit angry at this point, not at the Liu siblings. If they had agreed, Ma Yan wouldn’t have come to fool her by herself—it was because they didn’t agree that she desperately came to Li Pan.

She was really quite upset about this.

“She came by herself? I’ll go kill her.”

Liu Qian’s temper flared up instantly.

“It’s fine, don’t be angry; I threw her out. Seems like her brain isn’t very useful.”

“I know about this. My brother has already broken up with her because of this matter. He told me she’s scheming after your farm and to be wary in case she showed up. I hadn’t expected she’d come the moment I stepped out.”

Liu Qian was fuming.

“Forget about it, as long as it wasn’t you two who sent her, I’m happy.”

“How could it be? What’s our relationship like? We’ve come through so many years together. We siblings aren’t those kinds of people.”

Liu Qian thought about it and got mad again, making a phone call to her brother.

As soon as the call connected, she unleashed a tirade on her brother, sparing him no dignity.

“You blind fool, what kind of trash did you find? Do you pick women out of the garbage bin? Tell her to get the hell away from me and if she dares to come to the farm and bully Pan’er again, I’ll freeze her into an ice sculpture and smash her into ice powder to throw in the trash bin.”

Liu Qian roared into the phone.

Liu Hu held the phone far from his ear, listening to his sister’s rage with an expression of utter dejection.

Several squad leaders overheard the entire outburst while at a meeting in the Base Commander’s office, and Liu Hu was socially annihilated on the spot.

A group of people covered their mouths, laughing uproariously.

“I got it, I’ll handle it.”

“Go clean up your mess, and if she dares come back, I’ll kill her.”

Liu Qian was livid, feeling like the incident had damaged the reputation of her and her brother. They had come so far relying on each other and their few siblings, and this woman had ruined everything, infuriating her.

The Base Commander also furrowed his brows, afraid that he had misunderstood something.

“Xi Zi, you must find out something. Pan’er’s farm is my last resort, of utmost importance. She has the Absolute Healing power, which is critical for whether or not your lives can be pulled back from the brink. Do not take it lightly.”

The Base Commander reiterated this point directly and openly.

“Rest assured.”

Qian Xi smirked coldly, put on his hat, and left.

That very afternoon, Ma Yan was arrested, along with his father. As the entire No. 4 Farm consisted of their family, the whole place collapsed in chaos, terrified and clueless.

Li Pan learned of this news but did not comment. She glanced over it and moved on; there were more important matters to concern herself with.

Cultivating Spirit Plants was not as easy as planting medicinal herbs. She had to input her superpower into them every day but found that although these few plants had survived, they did not accept her. They were like gluttons without manners.
