The Base Commander ordered someone to record and register each individual’s contributions.

He had not expected this tycoon to have treated Zone 13 like a fish farm, turning it into their own backup food supply, which could be all sorts of things...

Many of their methods were simply inhuman, making one’s hair stand on end.

The evidence was so overwhelming it required specialized personnel to organize it, and this time, they truly were doomed.

On the large screen in the base’s plaza, news began airing the first piece—telling the inspiring story of Li Pan, an orphan and an ordinary resident, about how she worked her way up to a comfortable life with her own superpowers, not just for her own sustenance but also contributing various food supplies to the base so everyone could be well-fed.

They also disclosed the receipts of various food and funds she donated to the orphanage, which the elderly always required her to sign and imprint with her thumb, following proper procedures to protect each other—little did she know, they now served as evidence.

There were also interview videos of the orphanage children testifying how difficult those years had been, with adults struggling to feed themselves. Despite the grandfather’s tireless efforts, it was all drop in the bucket.

It was Li Pan who first brought them food and vegetables, as well as clothing for all seasons, quilts, and other supplies, never missing a thing. Without her support during the critical three years, they would have truly starved to death.

Additionally, she had awakened the Absolute Healing superpower and treated many people. The Spirit Plants she nurtured were turned into medicine. She supplied the base with Medicinal Materials and treated many patients. Each year’s plentiful harvest was entirely sold to the base, keeping less than a third for her own use.

She also provided many job positions for the base and trained quite a few high-level superpower users.

Despite all this, she faced envy and injustice.

While the base’s residents were moved, they were also furious. Public sentiment surged, demanding a thorough investigation of Zone 13, to arrest all criminals and maintain the base’s peaceful and stable environment, a matter concerning the well-being of all residents.

The Base Commander stirred up everyone’s emotions, uniting them against the evildoers of Zone 13.

Within the ordinary residents of Zone 13, there were still some who hesitated to switch sides immediately, those who had previously done immoral deeds for the wealthy. Now, they started to panic, unsure of what steps to take to save themselves.

Zone 13 was already under takeover by the base’s personnel, who seized and confiscated all assets and finances related to the Zhang Family and the tycoons.

The Base Commander was shocked by the wealth and resources uncovered—enough to sustain another base entirely.

This abundance was simply frightening.

Crystal Cores were so numerous they had to be stored in boxes. The Base Commander ordered the contents to be sorted and inspected—it wasn’t just Crystal Cores from mutant animals and plants, but also human Spirit Cores.

It was chilling!

There were also Spirit Fruits, gold, antiques, jewels, books, precious resources, grains, and other items.

Inventorying would take some time, and the human Spirit Cores had to be selected as evidence of crimes.

The Base Commander had chosen some Water Element and Wood Element cores to be sent to Li Pan first. The rest were sent to the Water doctors as a reward for their hard work.

In his spare time, he brought Crystal Cores and Spirit Fruits to visit Li Pan.

He saw Xie Ling had just completed the purification process on Li Pan’s body.

"Uncle, what brings you here?"

"I’ve just finished my work and got a bit of free time. I brought you some Water Element and Wood Element Crystal Cores. Use these first, and these are Water Element Spirit Fruits, which your farm doesn’t have. Eating them can purify the toxins in your body, and the pits are seeds."

"Okay, thank you, Uncle. I’ll use them for sister right away."

"That’s true, my sister devoted all her energy to the farm and Spirit Plants, only purifying herself once a week, she didn’t pay much attention to her own physical condition, otherwise she could’ve discovered it earlier."

In the afternoon, Wenwen came over after work to relieve her, and several girls had arranged shifts to take turns caring for Li Pan. They were responsible for massaging her and turning her over, while also channeling some Water and Wood Powers to help her recover.

In the blink of an eye, a month had passed, and the Base Commander finally managed to handle the affairs of Zone 13. Those troublemakers were caught after being stripped of their superpowers and brought to trial.

Many victims from Zone 13 also stepped forward to accuse them. This time, they would either be sentenced to death by firing squad or spend the rest of their lives in the mines.

More than a month later, Li Pan finally woke up.

Wenwen looked up, met her gaze, and cried out, "Sister, you’re awake!"

"Wenwen, thank you all for taking so much effort to care for me."

"Ah, my sister’s awake, brother, my sister’s awake!"

Wenwen bounced up and rushed out like a rabbit, shouting loudly as the entire farm learned that Li Pan was awake.

Two months after the last incident, Li Pan finally woke up.

"Sister, you’re finally awake."

Yang Zhengfei, Mi Le, and Zhang Qi ran up, panting and squeezing through the doorway, their eyes red.

"Come in, let me have a look, have you all been good?"

Li Pan reached out to them with a smile.

Yang Zhengfei was the first to enter the room, leaning over the bed and bursting into tears.

"Sister, it’s all my fault, I’m to blame for all this, it’s all on me!"

Yang Zhengfei couldn’t hold back his emotions when he saw Li Pan awake, and he cried.

No one blamed him. Even Xue Dong told him it was not his fault, but the Zhang Family’s, urging him not to take it to heart. Yet, he still felt very guilty and distressed.
