The kids were energetic, hopping up and down as they renovated the grocery store slightly, dividing it into two rooms and merging it with the neighboring barbecue shop, thereby expanding it.

But the Base Commander hadn’t agreed yet, and it wasn’t because of Li Pan.

Li Pan had made a small advancement, allowing her to set an additional Space Aim Point, extending nearly twenty kilometers farther than before, a change she had already notified the Base Commander about, giving him the freedom to arrange as he saw fit.

The reason he didn’t agree was that the Base Commander wasn’t happy about these few rich households, who lacked compassion for others, bustling about and haggling conditions back and forth. They had caused their fair share of trouble for him in the past, and he was reluctant to accommodate them now.

This was something for the Base Commander to worry about and had little to do with Li Pan.

The houses and yards they had purchased at the base were all fully renovated. Everyone took some time to check out the renovations and furniture, which were quite pleasing, and everyone excitedly planned which rooms they would settle into.

For now, only the veteran members like Qin Jianzhong, Shi Lei, Xie Ling, and Zhang Qi could live in these houses, and the new workers of No.9 Farm didn’t have this privilege. This principle was set by Xue Dong, who decreed that staying would be free for outstanding employees who had worked for two full years and earned their place in the base’s employee dormitories.

Currently, only the veterans mentioned had chosen their desired rooms and moved in. On their days off, they could return to the base or visit a neighboring base for leisure and shopping.

During the busy farming seasons, bonuses were issued based on the farm’s profits. Panpan Farm’s benefits had always been the best, and even the later employees, having worked less than three months, had already received a bonus of no less than two thousand yuan, much to everyone’s satisfaction.
