The Base Commander waved his hand dismissively.

The base commanders came together to renegotiate, demanding the restoration of peace, or else they would enter the forest to eliminate the threat entirely.

But this approach was not advisable. Animals and plants both have their necessity and reasons for existence; eradicating them and leaving only humans would lead to more severe natural disasters and disrupt the ecological balance.

Ultimately, the negotiation outcome was quite satisfactory, although the mutant animals requested the cleaning and purification of the forest’s negative energy; otherwise, they would continue to go mad.

This task could only be accomplished by Wood Power Users. In the end, it was Li Pan and Pei Yuan who took on the mission, leading a group of high-level Wood Power Users. Once prepared, they were ready to enter the forest for the purification process.

Pei Yuan also went with them, as he knew this technique.

Originally, the Base Commander disagreed with both going together, but they saw it as an opportunity. If they could truly change the environment completely, the mutant animals would have their own habitat and would not desire contact with humans. Tackling the root of the problem was the goal.

After much discussion, their opinion was finally accepted, though they were to bring other Combat Superpower Users along for protection.

Perhaps no one expected that the battle would come to depend on Wood Power Users, who usually stayed away from hunting.

This time, the bases formed several teams to learn this skill from Li Pan. Once they became more skilled, they could enter the forest to clear away the negative energy.
