Li Pan wasn’t sure exactly what kind of Spirit Plant it was; it was her first time planting a Spirit Plant. She knew the names of some, but not what they looked like. She would have to wait until they grew up to find out.

It was a pretty relaxed day; Gu Ye and Gu Yun had gone shopping at the base.

Only Xue Dong was at home, and she planned to mark the new Spirit Plants. She had had a minor upgrade recently, gaining the ability to teleport through space, and her spiritual power had increased significantly, so she felt somewhat confident this time.

"Xue Dong, I plan to mark the new Spirit Plants. Would you mind keeping watch over me?" she asked.

"Are you confident?" he asked.

"Last time I upgraded, my spiritual power doubled. I think it shouldn’t be too difficult," she replied.

"Okay, then give it a try," he consented.

Xue Dong nodded and sat down not far from her, watching over her.

Li Pan brought a clay pot over, containing a very small seedling with tender green colors. It was one of the several seeds given by the orphanage director.

Pei Yuan determined it to be a Spirit Plant, and likely not of a low Rank either; otherwise, it wouldn’t have consumed so much of her Wood Power to sprout such a small amount. Even the Five Elements Spiritual Fruit grew faster than this.

It was the slowest growing among the few Spirit Plants, and Li Pan had decided to mark it, having made ample preparations this time.

Li Pan began to gently probe the pale green plant with her spiritual power. The plant did not resist, nor did it refuse or eagerly accept.

She continued to increase the fusion strength of the Wood Element Factor, slowly releasing emotions of warmth and happiness to it with her spiritual power.

After a while, the plant finally responded slightly, a kind of nod.

Only then did she start to increase the transmission of her Wood Power. She channeled more and more until she was almost depleted, finally succeeding in leaving a bright mark.

The plant gently swayed, sending her a bit of energy—a mere trace—but it made Li Pan feel refreshed all over, and her spiritual power was quickly replenished, returning to its peak state.

Xue Dong watched her with concern, seeing her energy levels going from high to depleted and then quickly back to their peak, which he found quite strange.

Earth Dragon Fruit, a Tier 1 Spirit Fruit, brown in color, with a rough, textured surface. The Earth Dragon Fruit is rich in Earth Attribute energy, which can enhance Earth Element abilities. It is widely used in cultivating Earth Attributes and in making medicines, significantly improving the abilities of Earth Element cultivators.

Looking at the exchange price, a whole string of zeroes. Even with Li Pan’s high Contribution Points, she couldn’t afford a single one.

"Incredible, this is amazing stuff," he remarked.

After reading it, Xue Dong looked at Li Pan, and though the plant was of the Earth Element, it was definitely a top-grade Spirit Plant.

"Let’s take another look at the Five Elements Fruit."

The Five Elements Fruit, depending on the ability of the cultivator, determines the rank of the fruit. A Tier 1 Five Elements Fruit can bear fruits with the power of the Five Elements. Eating any kind of fruit can grant a power; for example, eating a Water Element Fruit can make one a Water Power user. It has been determined that the talent is at least S-rank. The younger the age, the higher the talent acquired; the older one is, the lower the talent.

The exchange price is astronomical and requires resources in exchange. Our base does not have this kind of Spirit Fruit.

The Spirit Plants really devoured superpower; they consumed more than half of the available power. The reserves for a high-level superpower user were quite substantial; she was not far from achieving Zhenhua, but certainly not as close as Pei Yuan.

But it was not an excessive distance either. Yet, even so, just looking after the two Spirit Plants was almost all she could manage. The remaining power was just enough for the transport to the medicinal materials, and there was no surplus power for the fields.

She had to rely on Crystal Cores for recovery. Now, the first thing every day was to supply power to the Spirit Plants and medicinal materials, ensuring they were well fed before she could slowly begin to recover.
