The shop began selling lotus roots, and large quantities were sold to the base, while they also started to make lotus root powder.

After the lotus root powder was ready, it was bagged, packaged, and sold, and there were quite a few buyers.

With winter approaching, Li Pan took some food and drink to visit the orphanage and friends at the base. She also slaughtered a round of poultry, pigs, sheep, and cows from home to sell to the base, with the leftovers for themselves.

First, she went to the orphanage, gave out some winter food and meat, checked the health of the director and the children to ensure there were no problems before leaving.

“Sister-in-law, you’re being too courteous, we’re all family here. I’ll put these in the house for you.”

Li Pan gave her sister-in-law a quick treatment. Her ailment was very simple, just a common cold, nothing serious, and she soon felt better.

Feeling much lighter all over after the treatment, the sister-in-law remarked, “Having a superpower really is wonderful.”

“Stay to eat with us, I’ll go cook.”

“No need, sister-in-law, the Base Commander still has things for me to do. I just stopped by to check on you and Xiao Hui. I should get going now, you rest up, and head into work tomorrow.”

“Okay then, I won’t keep you any longer. Come over when you have the time, and call your brother if there’s anything you need.”

Li Pan left her sister-in-law’s house and headed directly to the base.

Her task for the day was to provide treatment to patients from a neighboring base, the sooner, the better, as the downtime from farming had just begun, allowing them to gather people for treatment.

Upon returning to the base, the Base Commander was already waiting for her.

“The task is completed.”

The Base Commander nodded in approval. Thinking how these two kids truly knew gratitude and cared for others, they could see the hardships of others, definitely good kids.

“Uncle, shall we begin now?”

“Yes.”

Li Pan donned a black cloak and a mask before making her preparations in the room, ready to start treatment as soon as the patients were brought in.

This time, people from three different bases had made appointments for treatment, and the number of patients was quite high. This year’s harvest was decent enough that people had some reserves, so naturally, they prioritized helping their own. It’s tough to cultivate a superpower user; you couldn’t just abandon them when they fell ill, those who could be saved had to be helped.

She spent five consecutive days at the base before all the patients had been treated.

Everyone left cheerfully, and the rewards for Li Pan were substantial. Besides being given enough money, she had enough Contribution Points to exchange for Spirit Plants.

Some even gifted her with the seeds of Spirit Plants as a token of gratitude, all legally registered income with the details recorded.

Li Pan received several seeds in total, but three of them were from plants she couldn’t identify, while the others all had names.
