The system warned, but all it did was make White’s grin spread wider.

And whilst he was grinning, the rest of the students were frowning, most especially Gustav, who looked at him like he was unreal.

’Two Limitless Collapses at the same time!? How’s that possible?"

While technically, they could use a technique twice so far, they have the energy for it.

It was still close to impossible, as using a technique required deep focus, or it would just backfire.

It was already difficult keeping one technique stable in and of itself, yet he was unleashing both techniques at the same time.

’What kind of monster is he!?’

The dark circle appeared in the space, and what followed was a powerful suction force, and this time...it was beyond devastating.

Gustav felt as if the entirety of space around him was being dragged forward, forcing him to react quickly,

"Wrath Descent!"

The vortex behind him spun harder.

CRACKLE!

Once more, six bolts of lightning burst forward, combining into one before slamming into the vortex.

They managed to overwhelm one vortex, but then the other remained active.

It forcefully dragged Gustav forward, bringing him closer to 3 meters from White.

Still, he roared.

"WRATH DESCENT!"

The lightning vortex released another powerful bolt that combined into a pillar skewering through the remaining vortex.

THUMP!

The sound of falling echoed through the arena as Gustav collapsed on a knee, white smoke puffing out of his mouth in exhaustion.

At most, with the energy he had, he could keep up the Wrath Descent twice, but now he had been forced to unleash it thrice, leaving him out of energy.

He turned to White, unable to understand how the boy was still standing on his feet, but that was nothing.

The true horror came when he witnessed White slowly raise both of his hands once more, pointing them right towards Gustav.

"That’s...That’s Impossible!"

"Activate Limitless Collapse!"

The commands echoed through the battle stage twice, and silence fell.

They all watched as two more vortexes bloomed from the space before White’s fingers.

Gustav did nothing.

He was so numbed by disbelief that he could only watch as the terrifying suction force burst through, dragged him forward, right to the space before White’s finger.

It was the same scene as the last time he had lost.

That same finger to his forehead, that same wild grin.

It was a crushing moment, and now he was forced to relive it.

Still, something in him refused to go down without understanding.

’How...Just how does he have so much energy!?’

He asked, and this led to his eyes snapping open.

Now that he was close, he could sense something abnormal, and his eyes turned to White’s chest.

"Wait...You’ve reached the Late Stage!?"

"Collapse!"

BOOOOOOOOOM!

An explosion that completely tore the battle stage into two parts, but while the students expected Gustav to be blasted completely out of the arena.

He wasn’t.

A third figure had appeared on the battle stage, standing to the side with the unconscious Gustav in his hands.

It was the same Instructor calling the announcement, and he had moved fast, rescuing him in less than the span of a second after White had ordered the collapse and before the vortex could truly collapse.

"WINNER! WHITE SINCLAW!"

He said out loud, before turning to White.

"You’re almost out of energy. I can allow you two hours of rest to get back your energy before taking on the third challenge."

He said, concerned.

"We do it now."

White replied, and the instructor didn’t argue.

Passing Gustav to the health instructor, he flashed off the arena, as some other staff members came in, quickly mending the cracks on the stage with some sort of material conversion ability.

In a few seconds, the battle stage was fixed up, as good as new, and only then did the instructor call out.

"LAST FIGHT!"

"DAVINCI NIETZSCHE VS WHITE SINCLAW."

"Davinci?"

A student asked, looking around the battle stage.

"Yes. Davinci. He’s third on the ranking, though no one has seen him fight before."

Eyes wandered around the battle stage, and soon they found him.

It was a pale white boy with dark hair.

An abnormal dark color, as his hair was so dark it seemed to draw all light into it, making his facial features hard to see.

But even then, one could see his eyes.

They were full black without the slightest white in them.

His presence was unnatural, and he radiated a bizarre aura of non-existence as he walked down the battle arena, coming to stand ten meters away from White.

"READY!"

"FIGHT!"

He ordered.

None of them moved and no words were spoken, even after 5 seconds.

Until eventually, the words broke through.

"I told you the last time."

Davinci whispered, the same low feminine-like tone reaching White.

"I told you to get out of my way or I’ll devour your soul."

Hearing it made White grin.

This was that boy, his weirdo neighbor who had threatened to devour his soul on their first day of meeting.

And here he was again, facing him on the stage.

But the way he had worded that made it seem like White was the one who had challenged him when he was in fact the one who had challenged White.

But would White bother with an explanation?

No...that wasted time.

BOOOOM!

The ground beneath him tremored, and he flashed away from where he stood, appearing behind Davinci.

His right hand reached for his shoulder, but a few inches away from it, he heard Davinci call out,

"Nietzsche Manifestation."

White’s hands grabbed at the boy’s shoulders, but...that only happened in his head.

In reality, his hands swung through the boy’s shoulders instead, and Davinci unhurriedly took a step to the side, looking at White, who stared at his hands in confusion.

He turned back to Davinci and punched at his face, but once more, nothing happened.

White’s hand pierced through Davinci; everyone could see that, but it was like the body didn’t exist, allowing the hand to weave through him.

Once more, Davinci took a simple step to the side away from the fist’s trajectory.

"What the hell even is that?"
