"So the entire thing was really made up. How the hell did she even access my memories?" Emperal spoke as he chewed on a game he had hunted. He was standing in front of the cave...where he and Sera had sat together.

"Damn, this is the exact place. And even the details are eerie." A tingle ran down Emperal’s spine when he saw this.

He is usually very receptive, so he had noted the details here, such as the herbs, the land structure...the way the trees moved, everything.

Before he could take one more step forward—

BOOM!!

A loud explosion was heard nearby. Emperal’s heart skipped a beat when he heard this. The meat in his hands dropped to the ground with a dull thud.

His dark eyes shifted, "Infernal...Dragon."

Those words were barely spoken when the Infernal Dragon’s calm voice echoed.

"Don’t worry, this is not an illusion. You have my word."

The Infernal Dragon spoke in a reassuring tone, and only then did Emperal relax.

He was seriously terrified when the thoughts of him being stuck in an Illusional Loop surfaced.

A few miles away from Emperal’s location. A beautiful, long-eared woman was fighting with two what seemed like Dragonkin.

"You bitch!! Hand over that treasure you stole!!"

One of the Dragonmen roared in rage, his nails extending to...deep grey claws.

When she heard the man’s words, she snorted. "As if your name is written on that piece of the map."

Her words seemed to agitate the men far more; they took out their weapons and rushed towards her.

From a distance, a shadow was watching all this silently.

"This...they aren’t from Blazefang."

Emperal muttered with a frown on his face, instead of those flamy bastards. There was something incredibly lethal in the two men fighting ahead.

Their scales were different, their body structures were...their fundamentals were different from the Blazefang clan.

"...IronClaw, huh, Calder’s clan."

Emperal muttered when he saw them, an annoying glint flashed in his eyes.

"That bastard just had to tell me his story, uhh. Sigh."

He shook his head and stood up, drawing the Stormvein sword. His eyes reflected the beautiful figure fighting the two men.

She had short black hair that reached up to her shoulders, an above-average rack, and—

Infernal Dragon spoke, earning a nod from Emperal.

"Thank god, I don’t have to play the hero here; she alone is capable enough to handle that mess."

A loud explosion was heard with a sharp, piercing sound. Looking ahead, Emperal couldn’t help but whistle.

Some mysterious patterns lit up on Sera’s forearm, and in the next instant, several wooden spears formed behind her. They weren’t your average spears, these...they were different.

"Die."

Sera spoke lightly, and to the horror of the two IronScale men. The spears behind her travelled at breathtaking speed, heading straight toward them.

"Shit!! Run!"

One of the men shouted, preparing to scatter in different directions. But they hadn’t even taken a single step when...multiple wooden spears ripped through their bodies. Pinning them to the ground.

Blood dripped endlessly from their bodies, but they didn’t die. Their consciousness was barely hanging on.

Sera exhaled when she saw this. Without taking a single step, she spoke sharply.

"Until when are you planning to hide...Emperal?"

A pair of calm steps echoed from behind her, but she still didn’t turn around.

"My intention was never to stay hidden, Lady Sera. I was merely admiring your strength."

Emperal chuckled from behind, this time Sera slowly turned back and snorted lightly.

Emperal smiled, his gaze shifted to the two men pinned on the ground with wooden spears.

"Wouldn’t Lady Sera kill them?"

He asked, a bit confused.

"No, they are useful for information. They are more useful alive rather than dead."

She spoke in a cold tone; it seems she still didn’t trust Emperal. Which, he of course couldn’t care less.

His goal was just one thing—Dresh!

"I see, that’s a good idea."

Emperal chuckled when he saw her deadpan face. This woman...was a certified hard nut.
