Dresh looked at the door; there was just the final formation left right now. Her eyes, although not exhausted, had certainly dimmed a bit.

Tilting her head, she looked at Emperal beside her. His struggle, his will, and his stubbornness. Throughout the ordeal, he hadn’t complained even once. Nothing.

He would just occasionally ask about a certain formation or look at it closely, as if he were studying it.

Then he would nod and continue with his work. She was genuinely flabbergasted by his sheer grit.

The entire time, she couldn’t take her eyes off him, even once. She genuinely felt like she should just sit here and see him work all day...for her.

Emperal immediately halted, snapping his head around. He saw an unbelievable scene. The always confident and playful Dresh...had tears running down her cheeks.

"Is this altar where the...Inheritance is?" Standing next to Dresh, he asked about the altar. Dresh nodded when she heard that.

Dresh spoke; her voice was heavy. He could feel that the millennia-old woman was slightly nervous.
