Emperal was shocked when he saw the scene; his heart shook lightly when he saw the barrage of poisonous liquid, like a tide rushing towards Korrath.

No, he wasn’t worried about Korrath. His primary worry lay in the man...whose features were twisted beyond salvation.

Korrath didn’t even have the time to scream before the liquid entered his body...through his seven holes.

Korrath’s eyes suddenly widened, his eyes rolled behind his back as white liquid dripped from his mouth.

His body trembled continuously; the more it trembled, the bigger Calder’s smile got.

"Hehe~ Feel the pain, experience what my mother did...a hundred times more!"

Hair clouded his eyes as he spoke; the green liquid was slowly extracting Korrath’s vitality, causing him existential pain.

It was more than his psyche could handle, no. More than a fragile mind could handle.

Before Calder could raise his hand, a silver spear ripped through the air with astonishing speed and headed straight towards him! 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

Calder didn’t bother to dodge the spear. The spear, which was just a few meters away from him...suddenly tilted at its sharp edge!

"Just a year ago, we had gone through so much, made schemes and whatnot. Just to hunt Verth Wielding beasts. And look at you now...slaying a Verth Shaper like it’s nothing."

"Hmph, talk about yourself. You had hidden from a mere Verth Seeker in that Greenvale territory. And now, despite still being in the Verth Seeking stage...you slay Verth Wielders like it’s nothing."

Calder spoke, and Emperal had no way to defend himself. So he just stood there quietly, looking at the graceful figure of Lady Dresh.

A massive blast occurred, its shockwave even uprooting some ancient trees! The mountain shook as the ground cracked.

Dresh chuckled and echoed, making Daereth’s face twist further. Her eyes flickered with hatred.

"Dresh! You evil whore! This is all because of you! You are nothing but a hypocrite beneath that mask!"

Daereth screamed as she took a stance. Without waiting for a reply, she dashed towards Dresh. Behind her, dozens of sharp, metallic spears had materialized; they weaved through the air with breathtaking speed and went straight at Dresh!

"Heh~ Cursing the opponent the moment your defeat became clear? Classic, as expected from you."

Dresh clapped her hands together at the incoming attack. The moment her hands parted, a small swirling vortex-like thing materialized. It was swirling intensely, even screeching slightly.

Without hesitation, she waved her hand and dropped it towards the incoming spears.

The Verth around her body shifted as the wind began to coat her. Taking a step forward...she vanished. It was so fast that it almost felt like teleportation!

Daereth blinked; in the next moment, a slender fist was already there, between her brows.

"Heh, try not to be a bitch in the afterlife!"

And the fist descended with monstrous force, Dresh’s smile widened demonically as she smashed her hand...into her head.

The force was so powerful that Daereth’s head caved in an instant, a second later. It popped apart like a watermelon!

It was a surreal and visceral sight. The blood rained down as Daereth’s body smashed onto the ground. With a smile, she wiped her hand as if nothing had happened.

Her vortex had neutralized every spear and had grinded it down to dust. She was overwhelming through and through.

Landing in front of the two boys, she looked ahead. And was...surprised when she saw two polar opposite reactions.

Calder felt like his soul had left his body; he had even taken a few steps back. Which was a natural reaction, given he had seen her smile. But the other one?

Emperal’s eyes were glued onto Dresh. Their intensity even surprised Dresh for a second.
