Infernal Dragon was quiet for a few seconds, letting Emperal calm his nerves down.

"You seem to be forgetting something."

It suddenly spoke, surprising Emperal.

"What is it?"

"You also have Elven blood flowing through your veins."

Hearing this, Emperal scoffed.

"So what? Never once has it been useful aside from a very few handful of times."

It was true; his blood was just flowing through him, providing no visible benefits. The only time it had helped him was the time when he was hit by Verth Lightning. He could vividly remember the pain.

"I wouldn’t say it’s useless, just like your Draconic bloodline...it just needs that specific...thing."

The Infernal Dragon spoke. Hearing this, Emperal shook his head.

"I will worry about this later; for now, let’s focus on the immediate things."

Emperal sat back on his chair and started to prepare his next plans.

Seeing this, Emperal nodded and jumped on the ground.

Thessa bowed slightly. Looking at Emperal, she couldn’t help but think he had changed a bit. His aura at least.

"Thessa, hope you have been doing well. Did you collect the information that I gave you in the list?"

Thessa nodded to his words and passed a small scroll to him. "Master, I have properly documented everything in this scroll. You can verify it."

Thessa spoke, her hessonite eyes gleaming slightly.

Yes, this was the serpent woman from the Ninth Dragon squad. After Emperal had killed her subordinate Reth, he had sent her to the forest to chase the other wolfkin and slaughter him.

Saying that, Emperal waved his hands, sending the scroll straight to his spatial ring. It was still shining as brightly as ever.

Thessa looked at it curiously for a second before raising her head to meet his gaze.

"Did you kill that wolf-blood?" Emperal asked. He was just curious. After all, now that the Verth Spring had fallen into his hands, he couldn’t care less about the information leaks.

Thessa paused and slowly began recollecting all the events that happened after he told her to go after the wolf-blood.

Emperal stood there, listening to every word carefully, nodding a few times in between.
