The Snow Qilin glanced back and saw Mu Chen’s hand about to grab it. It let out a panicked cry, and immediately, the door to Room 202 clicked open. This wasn’t because Mo Qing had forgotten to lock the door, but because the Snow Qilin possessed the innate ability to ignore Seals and Barriers. A door lock was also a type of Seal, so with the Snow Qilin’s cry, the door naturally opened, and it darted through the doorway in a flash.

Mu Chen was hot on its heels and plunged in right after it without a chance to react. Before he could even see where the Snow Qilin had gone, he crashed headfirst into someone’s embrace. Then, he heard the door click shut behind him. But at that moment, Mu Chen clearly had no time to worry about where the Snow Qilin was, because he realized he was pressing his entire body down on top of someone.

Mo Qing was on the verge of tears. She had just gotten out of the bathroom and was about to go to sleep when suddenly, a figure burst in from outside and pinned her onto the bed. But when an angry Mo Qing got a clear look at the intruder, she was so surprised she forgot to scream.

’Mu Chen... How could it be him?’ Mo Qing thought to herself.

Mu Chen finally snapped back to his senses. He looked up, and his gaze was instantly captivated. Before him was a girl so beautiful it was breathtaking, her looks in no way inferior to Mu Bingling’s. ’But isn’t this Mo Qing’s room? Who is this girl?’

He stared at the girl, and the girl stared back at him. Apparently, having been pinned by Mu Chen for a while, Mo Qing’s brow furrowed in pain. Mu Chen froze, then stammered, "Th-that... uh... I’m... I’m s-s...orry!"

Mo Qing said irritably, "Well, hurry up and get off!"

Mu Chen froze again, then quickly said, "Oh, oh... oh."

With that, Mu Chen scrambled to his feet. He stood to the side with his head down in a panic, his left hand moving from behind his back to in front of him, as if it were a spare limb he didn’t know what to do with.

Mo Qing found Mu Chen’s behavior amusing. A girl like her didn’t fall for someone easily, but once she did, she was completely devoted. So, after realizing the one who had taken advantage of her was Mu Chen, she didn’t feel much of anything. Such is the mindset of someone in love. Quickly adjusting her sleepwear, Mo Qing looked at Mu Chen and said, "Captain Mu Chen, what were you trying to do, barging into my dorm room at night?"

"Huh?" Mu Chen cried out in surprise. Only two girls called him Captain Mu Chen: Ye Shuangshuang and Mo Qing. But the woman in front of him was clearly much taller and looked completely different from either of them. "You... you are?"

Mo Qing covered her mouth to hide a giggle. She knew Mu Chen would react this way. Her large, limpid eyes were full of mirth as she said with a slight curl of her lips, "Take a guess who I am."
