This gesture made Mu Chen chuckle. He laughed and said, "Little one, I’m not hungry, and I don’t like to eat this stuff. You can have it."

Hearing this, Xiaobai’s eyes crinkled in delight. It stuffed the piece of shell into its mouth, making little smacking sounds of enjoyment from time to time. It looked utterly blissful. The instant the white light wrapped around the little beast, a powerful wave of Primordial Power erupted from its body. Mu Chen knew—it was about to evolve.

Every Magical Beast’s eggshell contains immense energy, absolutely enough for a single evolution. And this was the egg of an Ancient Giant Beast! The vast energy it left behind was enough to shock the world. Since the Fur Ball Little Beast had devoured all the eggshells in one go, the power it obtained was certainly sufficient for it to evolve.

The ball of light grew larger and larger, its glow more and more intense. Gradually, the surroundings began to tremble violently. The calm lake surface started to roil as if it were boiling water.

"ROAR!" With a heaven-shaking roar, the bright sky suddenly dimmed, and flashes of Thunder Light filled the entire Independent Space.

"ROAR!" Another tremendous roar. The Primordial Power within the space began to fluctuate wildly. Fiery meteors filled the sky, streaking down to smash into the ground of the Independent Space. The earth shuddered from the impact. Amid continuous rumbles, spiderweb-like cracks spread out in all directions as lava erupted from the fissures, dying the entire sky red. The lake water surged backwards, and a massive Water Tornado whipped up a monstrous wave that crashed toward the erupting lava. In an instant, the beautiful scenery dissolved into utter Chaos.

"ROAR!" A third great roar. The surrounding space began to distort violently. A continuous SIZZLING sound filled the air as enormous rifts materialized out of thin air. After these rifts appeared, anything that touched them—be it the searing lava, the ferocious fiery meteors, or the surging, monstrous waves—was devoured and vanished without a trace.

This destructive power made Mu Chen feel like a small boat tossed about on a tempestuous ocean—so helpless, so weak.

Just then, a colossal white phantom descended from the sky. The figure was extremely illusory; one could see the scenery behind it through its form. But even though the figure was illusory, it did not stop its majestic image from being deeply seared into Mu Chen’s mind.

This was a true Giant Beast, over a thousand meters long and more than six hundred meters tall. Its body occupied a tenth of the Independent Space. Mu Chen himself began to float upward uncontrollably. The immense suction made him feel as if his very blood would be drawn from his body. He could only continuously circulate the Primordial Power within him to try and slow his ascent.

However, just as Mu Chen rose to the level of the Giant Beast’s face, a beam of golden light enveloped him. The Adhesive Force acting on him seemed to vanish. Mu Chen looked forward, and a majestic, domineering face appeared before him. As Mu Chen looked at it, the Giant Beast was also looking at him. This was the first time Mu Chen had truly met the gaze of the Giant Beast. Its face was incredibly majestic, its golden eyes radiating a look of apathy. The long whiskers on either side of its mouth drifted out to its sides, swaying in the wind...
