Claimed By A Dragon Prince

Lily just couldn’t believe how Dimitri was acting towards her. It was like they never even had trust between them before. She could understand his need to keep his mate, but the constant threat act was literally wearing her down with him. Then again he could be sensing the attraction between her and Dran which would make any male crazy.

*I have to talk to him or else this will only get worse." She was about to leave her room when there was a knock at her door. Opening it she saw Dran on the other side a worried look on his face. "Can I come in?" She nodded opening the door more to let him in, closing it once he stepped through. He stopped next to the chair she just vacated looking out the window.

"Is everything alright? Do I need to grow more food?" Lily wasn’t sure what the look was for, but she knew she had to talk with Dran too. "No, no nothing about that. Dimitri was shown to the room just next to yours on there right side. If you want to talk with him I just seen him walking in."

This wasn’t what he wanted to talk to her about, but the words just kept coming out of his mouth. Dran wanted to convince her to stay, but if she didn’t listen to her current mate why would she hear him? Dran didn’t want to drive her away, but he also didn’t want to push her into a bad decision for herself either.

Lily wanted to speak with Dimitri, but she knew he was exhausted from all the events that have happened in the last week. "Stay here, I’ll be right back." Lily left the room to go next door to check on Dimitri. She knocked waiting for hear him walk over, but when she didn’t it worried her. Walking in quietly she saw him laying half on the bed with his legs down on the floor.

Some of the food had been eaten, but not enough. First she lifted his legs onto the bed then removed his boots. Grabbing one of the throw blankets in the room she laid it over him kissing his cheek. Leaving the fruit she took the tray so fresh hot food could be delivered later and left the room. *He was that tired. Poor guy.*

Half his responses were fueled by exhaustion and desperation to get to her so she would let things sit for a while until he woke up. Walking out with the tray one of thew maids working was passing by and Lily asked if she could take it. The maid happily took it bowing then going on with her work. Lily went back to her room where she knew Dran was waiting.

Walking in she saw him sitting in her chair, elbows on his knees looking at the floor. He looked up when he hears her walking in. "He’s asleep. Its been a rough journey for him." Dran nodded knowing how bad it was, having taken they way Dimitri went a couple times. Most thought going through the open mountain range was the main way to get to this settlement.

However there was an underground tunnel, big enough for dragons to fit through, that was the main entrance to the mountains. It had been this way when the people started to settle here and someone had come that way to get to the settlement. From then on it was made that main entrance as it would protect and hide the fact that there were people hidden away in the mountains.

Lily wanted to run to him, but if she did that certain things would happen and weigh on her heart more. She moved to sit on the bed looking over at him. "I know we still need to talk about what we did and where to go from here, but you haven’t told Dimitri yet have you?"

"I’ve wanted too, but when I had the chance to speak there was always someone walking up to us. And that’s not something you bring up to someone just after finding them again. When he wakes up I plan to speak with him." Dran wanted to hold her so badly with his nerves all over the place and having to keep calm watching her with another man, his brother no less. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

"Alright. I will leave you to it then. I will be working in my offices. Have Sunflower bring you when you’ve had the chance to talk with him. I’ll be waiting for you." He walked over kneeling down to kiss her hand, lingering on her knuckles. She could feel the softness of his lips on her skin causing her to gasp a little. She tries to stifle it, but he looked up hearing her cry his eyes a deep green she had only seen once.

He let her hand go she pulled back knowing just how close to danger she was. Delicious, torturous danger that would only make her talk with Dimitri worse if she continues. "Go..Before this goes further. He deserves at leas....." Before she could say anymore he kissed her lips silencing the plea coming from them. Her mind went blank for a moment before fireworks exploded behind her eyes causing her to forget why she was objecting.

He pulled her lower lip in between his teeth wanting more contact with her. Biting down a bit harder she gasped from the pain effectively opening her mouth slightly to him. Not missing the opportunity he swept his tongue over hers pulling her closer in deepening the kiss. Lily wanted to loose herself in him, body,mind, and soul his touch lighting a fire in her veins.

Dran knew he should leave it at this, but his dragon wanted more from his female and would get it. Lily tried to pull back from him, her conscience mind kicking in trying to keep her own promise. "NO, no we can’t. Please if you can’t behave the go." Dran had to stop his dragon from coming out who wanted nothing more then to ravish his female.

He stepped away moving to the window to take a couple deep breaths of fresh air, some of their scents mixing slightly as he breathed. Her scent would be one he could always find, Citrus and wildflowers just as the morning light breaks. His body calmed down, but his best wanted more. *Now is not that time. Leave it* His dragon snorted at him pissed he couldn’t have more of what he thought to be his.

"Thank you. I know that was hard. I just.... I need to talk to him. I know what every fiber of my being is telling me, but I also know falling into it won’t help either. I’m not saying no to you, and you still need time to know who and what I am." the way she phrase that was strange to him and had him wondering what he was getting himself into.

"Alright, but I am holding you to that. Now you have me curious about what you are. Should I be scared?" He was half joking with her until he turned around looking over at her, those eyes glowing between light blue and teal green. "Very."

He was taken aback by this comment, but was still intrigued by this woman. Bowing to her, knowing any contact could be dangerous, he moves to the door walking out. Lily fell back in her bed grabbing a pillow to scream in. *I can’t do this! F*ck!*

All she wanted to do in that moment was run after him, but this thought made her feel guilty as she was supposed to feel this way only for Dimitri. He had no idea what her mother had explained to her and she needed to get a message back to her father. Thinking about this she went about writing a message and finding Bar to deliver it so she could get what she needed. Hopefully he could be more helpful then her mother since it seemed it was more something her father would teach or tell her about. Maybe he had and she didn’t realize it. All the stress was getting to her as she finished her letter as she changed her clothes to blend in more so she wasn’t stopped as much walking thought the streets.

Dran had to get as far from her room as he could other wise he wouldn’t keep his promise. While he knew her reasons were valid he just didn’t care enough to not want to touch her. If she hasn’t stopped him they would have been moanin’ and groaning together in ecstasy. His mind was staring to run with the images making it impossible for him to work. He needed to blow off some steam so he headed for the training ground knowing a few had been asking for him to stop by.
