The Dragon King and Queen were waiting for the two as they came out of the castle’s storage area. The doors opened to the main hall, revealing the two. Lily was wrapped in a sheet as Dimitri carried her into the hall. Dimitri approached his father while staring down at the queen. "Son, what happened? Why is your mate so beaten and bruised?"

Dimitri knew the queen had done this, maybe not with her hands, but she was the last person seen with Lily. Without evidence though no one would believe him, even his father. Nina comes rushing in clean cloths and a pack in her hands that she hands to Trinee. Searching through the contents she finds the dragon moss she needs pulling out strips to lay over each deep wound. There was also a jar of cream labeled "cuts & burns" she grabbed as well for the other marks.

"I’m going to f*cking kill that little shit of a brother. He knew this would hurt more then me. F*CK!" Dimitri shouts slamming his fits on the wall shaking the fireplace and wall. The woman stopped for a moment seeing their prince’s frustration before continuing to work. "She will live through this. She’s a fighter and has a mean streak a league long, sir. She’ll beat the shit out of him and be good to go."

He smirked hearing her assessment of his mate knowing she would do just that when she was healed. His woman wasn’t one to let a beating get her down, but he didn’t want her used to it in what was supposed to be her home now. "Your right." He walked over to sit on the other side the woman wasn’t working from. Looking at the marks some were already healing while others looked red and angry.

Trinee had a concerned and angry look on her face as she looked through Lily’s pack looking for something. Lily turned her head looking at Trinee whispering out. "Its....in the....left inner..... pocket...red box." Trinee looked where she said and there was a red box that had purple pills in it. "How many?" Lily held up one finger as Trinee gave her one and a sip of water.

Dimitri watched the exchange hopeful that Lily would pull through okay. "I’m sorry I wasn’t there fast enough. Your last command broke the barrier around the room and I sensed where you were." Lily listened holding his hand as Trinee applied the cream to her skin. Dimitri was surprised when she reached for him, but didn’t say anything knowing she needed him close.

Trinee finished applying the cream putting the jar and box back where she found them. Nina moved up close to Lily with warm water to wipe the dried blood away from her skin. "I’ll do it. I’ve got her for the night. You may go. Thank you Trinee. Stay in her rooms she’ll want you close." Trinee nodded packing up the pack setting it next to the bed before leaving with Nina.

Dimitri got to work wiping the blood from her body being careful not to wipe the medicine off around the wounds. The Dragon moss was doing its work healing the deep whip marks as he wiped around the wounds. Lily would twitch or hiss every once in a while when he got close to a deep mark. His dragon kept wanting him to like the wounds, but he didn’t want to freak her out.

However his dragon was pushing to the front demanding to heal his mate. Lily could feel the difference in Dimitri immediately knowing who was trying to take over. "Dragon, I’m okay. Promise." Lily tried to convince the beast in her mate who looked unconvinced.
