The Wolf King sat in his rooms in the Dragon Castle contemplating what to do about Lily. Kidnapping her would be too risky, and after what happened at the ball, no one would believe they were family. Sipping his drink staring at the fire the thought of his main trump card falling into the hands of the one he had tried for years to keep her from.

Leaving her father’s rooms with Dimitri, Lily had finally found her family and told her mate about it too. Her head was still floating a bit with all the information still swimming around as she walked down the hall to the staircase holding onto Dimitri’s arm. "I can’t believe that just happened."

Dimitri walks over gesturing to her for one of them as he sets the hilt in his hand. They looked the blades over as she hadn’t paid much attention to the details when she first saw them. Lily saw a wolf etched into the metal as if it was running up the blade. While the other one had a dragon similar to Dimitri’s flying along the cut edge. She wondered if one was meant for him, but as he handed her the sword back it felt right to have them both in her hands.

"Those are ancient blades. They looked familiar to me because I had seen depictions in the scrolls of our library. A great goddess had them one that helped set the boundaries of this realm. Use them carefully." Lily nodded hearing this surprised that such a powerful weapon would choose her.

Concentrating on them again they disappeared back onto her skin where they were safe. Stepping up close to her Dimitri was in awe of the woman before him. All he wanted to do was take her away from all this strife and give her a peaceful home to live in for the rest of her life. With the sun setting on the day, the light cascaded over her face accenting all the emotions she felt for him on display.
