The ball was still in full swing as the two snuck back to their room hiding when someone came down the same corridor as them or near an exit they needed to escape to. Reaching the family floor he picked his mate up making her wrap those long legs around his waist as she held on to his shoulders for support.

"Dimitri, please!" Lily moaned as he kissed her along the collarbone to her ear, nipping at the skin. He wanted to be lost in this woman, basking in her warmth while she held him close. He walked them to their door, and Lily pulled a key out of the top of her dress. "Let me." She put the key in, unlocking the door as he kicked it open, walking her to their bed and laying her out.

Walking through the clouds again Lily knew where she was going now this time wanting to find out what she didn’t get the chance to finish. Walking down one of the temple halls Lily could see that her mother had accumulated a lot of tributes over the years. Seeing several weapons set on podiums Lily walked by them admiring their craftsmanship.

Stopping in front of one she lifted her arm which had a new marking on it she hadn’t seen before. Almost like a vine it swirled and dipped around her arm stopping just before her wrist. Shaking it off she reaches for a pair of short swords lift one testing its weight. It was perfectly balanced as she did a few moves getting the feel of the weapon.

Her mother was watching as she tested the other sword moving with the blades like they were made or her. The Goddess cleared her throat as Lily landed a pose then righted herself hearing her mother. "Hello, daughter. I see you have found my trove of treasures."
