Claimed By A Dragon Prince

The Wolf King paced the room hearing from the mercenaries that their attempt to steal back his ward failed. Looking at the men they looked like a group of fighters had taken them down, not just one woman. "And you’re telling me she did this alone? To supposed elite mercenaries!" The men coward as the King’s aura caused them to submit.

"We were unaware of her skill or we would have taken this more seriously. You led us to believe she had no skill to defend herself or others accompanying her. If we didn’t leave when we did her companion would have marked us, thus risking you." The cloaked figure explained seeing the King’s frustration.

The King knew they were doing their best. Lily was no fool and he knew it, but hoped she would remain ignorant for a few years more before his son took over. Leaving like she did almost crippled the Wolf Clan into bankruptcy. At this point, he would do anything to drag her back to her work that would fix things she left behind after abandoning her Clan.

The Wolf Queen watched as her mate decided whether he would kill them or not. It mattered little to her so long as that wolfless girl was put back in her place. The palace had been in disarray for years since Lily left because of the orderings she set up and had placed for future orders. After a few years, things needed to be renewed and the queen had no clue how Lily set everything up.

Putting her back in her place would set everything right with their Clan again. The girl was a good workhorse, but would never do as she was told. Getting up The Queen walked over to the men kneeling down to their level. "We need that woman back. If you do a good job I promise the reward will double. Fail us again and don’t expect to keep your lives."

The cloaked figure nodded as the men got up and exited the room with haste. A few moments later Alisa storms in fuming with anger. "Mom! I just saw that wretch with the second dragon prince. I thought we were here to get her back, not let her steal the prince I am to mate with!"

The King and Queen shake their heads knowing their daughter wants everything she desires, and never takes no for an answer. Alisa has been trying to gain the second prince’s attention for years now only dancing with him one time at the last ball they were in the Dragon Clann territory. She claimed they fell in love and had to keep their affair secret because of his position, and now that she was an adult there was no reason to wait anymore.

"Alisa, darling, we told you that mating him will not be possible anymore. He has his chosen mate." The Wolf king explained tired of hearing his daughter’s ridiculous plans to capture her desired prince. "But daddy! He is mine! We are destined to be together! That wretch can’t have him!" Her tantrums have become worse ever since they informed her about his mating to Lily.

"I will not just give up on him! Love is what drives us to be together and he is too good-natured to just throw her away. If nothing else I will propose that he keep her as a mistress. He may have marked her, but that could be to keep her for her skills." Alisa was aware of the bookish way Lily was and how she helped her parents with the paperwork she didn’t understand.

"And you’ve spoken to him about this?" The queen asked wondering how her daughter would convince the prince to put his mate second. "I was on my way to speak with him now. I should be back with happy news." The queen was unconvinced about her positive outcome, but Alisa had her ways.

"Alright, my princess if you think you can convince him then go give it a shot. If not then your only other option is to mate the youngest prince. If you wish to rule, support your prince and maybe he will be chosen as Crown Prince to ascend the Dragon Clan. Otherwise, you come back home with us and we find you a proper mate, am I clear?" The Wolf King explained to his daughter making this her final attempt at the second prince.

Seeing that her father was serious she nodded her head. "Yes, father I understand." She already knew of some of the men he was thinking of introducing her to and Alisa was not interested in some wealthy merchant. Only a prince would do for her since she wish to keep her status as a princess, if not a queen.

Hugging her parents she went to her rooms having her maids help her change into a transparent dress, pulling a silk robe over her shoulders, and slipping her feet into a set of slippers. Taking her hair down to fall around her, she thought she looked quite them temptress. Feeling confident that she would persuade her prince she left the room heading to her prince’s quarters.

Reaching the royal family’s floor she wondered which rooms were his. Stopping a servant that was leaving one of the rooms Alisa asks which is his. "He is in the room at the end of the hall, but I wouldn’t go....." Her words trailed off as Alisa walked off heading to her prince’s room. Reaching the door she could hear noise from the other side. Sneaking in she noticed no one in the room, but the bathroom door ajar.

Silently walking to it she can see through the crack that the Prince was engaged in sexual activities with someone in the tub. Taking a closer look she could see excatly who it was.
