Wizard: I Add Points and Hunt Monsters

A hint of joy appeared on Wei’en’s face. While recovering his Spiritual Power, he commanded the ghost to cast a spell.

Compared to the Blink Spell, whose Spiritual Power cost doubled with rapid use, Bone Wall was far less draining. His current recovery rate could easily offset the cost of the Bone Wall spell.

Wei’en looked at the nearby Skeleton Strangler, his expression cold as he pointed at it. Necromancer’s Claw!

"Ble, Franco, Ah Wa!"

On the ghost’s forehead, the rune representing Necromancer’s Claw (Death God) suddenly enlarged, replacing the Bone Wall (Death God) rune to occupy the center of its brow.

A massive Rune Array appeared beside the Skeleton Strangler. Immediately after, three fingers of the King of Skeletons slowly extended, tapping toward its head.

The Skeleton Strangler froze for a moment. Sensing the dark, cold aura, the tangled muscles on its body began to writhe frantically, forming a ball that completely enveloped it.

Wei’en pulled out his flintlock. "Die, you bastard!"

"ROAR!!"

Wei’en’s heart leaped. He felt a terrifying aura rush toward him and instinctively blinked away.

He saw the Strangler’s massive ball of flesh slam into the spot where he had just been. It was the first time it had moved since the battle began, and it had done so by instantly teleporting, ignoring the space between them in a bizarre fashion.

Not only that, but after landing, the Skeleton Strangler shot out its six tentacles. In pairs of two, they stabbed madly toward Wei’en, its cold eyes filled with insanity.

’Can’t stop?’

A chill went down Wei’en’s spine. After blinking away, he bolted.

He used his Spiritual Power to sense the direction of the incoming tentacles while desperately using his running speed to dodge their attacks.

"Damn you, Clown! How long are you going to stay fucking crazy?"

Wei’en cursed the Demon Clown while occasionally firing his flintlock at the Skeleton Strangler.

’Hm?’

’My injuries have healed?’

Wei’en frowned and cast Necromancer’s Claw again.

But this time, the Skeleton Strangler had clearly learned its lesson. As the finger bones attacked, it teleported directly above Wei’en.

’Damn it.’

Wei’en glanced at the still-crazed Demon Clown, then at the relentlessly pursuing tentacles. Gritting his teeth, he used Blink to move right next to the clown.

"Ble, Franco, Ah Wa!"

Three finger bones appeared, and just as expected, the Skeleton Strangler moved above his head again.

Forcing himself to use the last of his Spiritual Power, Wei’en blinked away, leaving the Demon Clown—still roaring and wailing in place—to face the Skeleton Strangler’s flesh-missile attack.

’Wrong time to be crazy, you bastard. You can be my meat shield!’

Not a second after he left, the giant ball of flesh came crashing down.

BOOM!

’It worked!’

Wei’en was pale, panting heavily. Veins throbbed on his forehead, and the consumption of Spiritual Power gave him a splitting headache.

Wei’en downed two Enlightenment Potions, rapidly restoring his Spiritual Power.

But when he saw the state of the Demon Clown and the Strangler, he couldn’t help but freeze.

"Is that you? Lilith, have you come for me?"

’Huh??’

He saw the clown, not even a fifth of the Skeleton Strangler’s height, wrapping its arms around the monster. It affectionately pressed its face against the disgusting, deep-red muscle, a rare gentleness in its expression.

The Strangler’s head poked out from the pile of muscle. Its cold, vertical pupils glanced down at the clown’s figure. "Roar?"

Its body couldn’t help but pause. The muscles instantly deflated, shrinking its entire form by a third.

Its pitiful appearance seemed to ask, ’Am I too heavy? If I am, I can shrink some more.’

But the clown didn’t respond. The nails on its five fingers silently grew longer, forming dull, black Finger Knives.

"It’s so good to see you again, Lilith..."

The clown’s outstretched hands closed inward. Without any resistance, they easily sliced through the Skeleton Strangler’s body as ten blades of dark light flashed past.

"ROAR—"

The Skeleton Strangler roared in agony as its entire body was cut into dozens of pieces. Chunks of muscle fell to the ground, writhing as they tried to reassemble.

’Hm?’

Wei’en’s eyes lit up. ’If not now, when?’

’Kick it while it’s down!’

His hands moved in a blur, loading bullet after bullet into his flintlock and firing them off.

He even risked blinking up close and blasting it twice with a shotgun.

BANG, BANG BANG BANG... A series of gunshots rang out, echoing for a long time in the dim world.
