Wei’en sized up Rudi. According to the Wizard’s Manual, the Shadow School specialized in researching Forbidden Techniques and was even more mysterious than the Ghost Soul School.

If he actually answered such a malicious question, the day after something happened to the new Saintess, Dawn would undoubtedly dispatch an army of Holy Professionals to the Blood Spirit School.

Information he had recently learned flashed through Wei’en’s mind. He said thoughtfully, "The Emperor of the Cordo Sea should be arriving on the West Coast of the Shetland Kingdom soon."

"You—you mean the captain of the Black Pearl, the moving taboo, the Emperor of the Cordo Sea, Isabella Christers?"

"Yes."

Wei’en noticed the look in his eyes. ’Don’t tell me this information is too valuable,’ he thought.

In reality, the intelligence he provided was just a guess based on the Ceres Manor case and Vasquez’s stay in the Basil District.

It wasn’t even certain that the Sea Emperor would actually show up.

"Um, His Excellency Faceless, the intelligence you’ve provided is too valuable. I’m afraid I don’t have anything of equal value to exchange for it."

"Is information about the captain of the Black Pearl really that valuable?" Wei’en asked curiously.

Although Wei’en already had Jerry Mage’s manual, he figured it wouldn’t hurt to look at the knowledge currently possessed by the Mechanical School. Cross-referencing them would be beneficial to his studies on Mechanical Puppets.

After the two signed a transaction contract, Flanta spoke up last. "I have information on a follower of the Death Sect, currently located in Heyalmar City State in the northern part of the Western Continent."

Luo Ke nodded. "Now that is a very useful piece of intelligence. I’m sure those who aim to become Mutated Mages will be very interested."
