They shared a breath, then everything surged. He kissed her. It wasn’t gentle. It was messy and desperate.

Holding her head in both hands, he looked at her misty eyes. With his heightened sense of smell, he had smelled her arousal, but this was something different.

"You," he said teasingly, "did you just...?"

"Shut up," she glared at him.

He chuckled, then kissed her.

As if to avenge her humiliation, she pounced on him. She didn’t just kiss him, she devoured him. Her tongue shoved past his lips, and as if in revenge, she bit him, causing his lip to bleed.
