Peerless Perverted Actor Has a Celebrity Harem?!

Chapter 26: Private Wing

The convoy passed between the fountains, carrying him deeper into the courtyard while the night tried and failed to hold onto the estate. Lights ran beneath the hedges, along the roofline, between the columns and under the water of every fountain. The darkness had already started a war with the mansion and was losing badly.

By the time the Maybach stopped under the entrance canopy, everything around Park stood as clear as midday, only softer and way more expensive.

Several members of staff were already waiting.

A footman opened his door before Park even reached for the handle.

He stepped out slowly, adjusting the jacket he’d changed into before he left Mick’s car while his eyes traveled over the immense front of the house. Up close, the stone carried delicate carvings around every window and arch, and the main doors were made from dark wood reinforced with polished metal.

The Bennett crest appeared above them again, smaller this time, though still large enough to remind anyone exactly whose home they had walked into.

Park let out a long breath.

Where the hell was he supposed to begin?

The mansion?

His family?

The System?

The fact that he had died, woken up in another body that was himself about everything but just better and somehow inherited a private forest before getting the chance to process either event properly?

He turned back as Quinn stepped out of the driver’s seat.

"Come with me."

She paused. "To your room, sir?"

"Yes."

Her eyes rested on him for a moment, professional and unreadable.

Park smiled.

"Relax. I’m not planning anything criminal."

"That clarification did not help."

"It should. Criminal is a very broad category."

Quinn closed the car door and joined him under the canopy.

Together, they entered the mansion.

The entrance hall could have swallowed his old apartment building and compound without noticing.

A broad marble floor stretched under a ceiling three stories high, where a crystal chandelier hung above the center like someone had trapped a constellation and decided to hang it for decoration.

Twin staircases rose along either wall before curving toward the gallery above, and between them stood a tall portrait of Alexander Bennett and the Royal Chancellor, both dressed formally enough to make affection look like government policy.

The place was beautiful, sure, but Park had already spent the entire drive being assaulted by wealth from every direction. At this point, another column or priceless painting would need to start dancing before he got properly impressed.

Staff moved quietly through the hall, several bowing as he passed.

"Welcome home, Young Master."

"Good evening, Young Master."

Home.

That word still felt weird.

Park acknowledged them with small nods and continued toward the stairs. His parents weren’t back yet, which meant there was no reason to visit the family gathering room on the second floor.

His sisters wouldn’t be there without his parents either.

The gathering room was supposedly where the Bennetts spent their evenings together whenever Alexander and the Chancellor returned early enough to pretend their schedules allowed them to be a normal family.

Without the parents, though, his sisters generally stayed inside their own rooms even dinner got carried upstairs if nobody ordered otherwise.

It would have been nice to waste an hour in the company of his beautiful stepsisters.

’Purely for the noble purpose of family bonding, of course.’

Nothing shameless about that at all.

Unfortunately, beauty had abandoned him for the evening.

Unfortunately, beauty had abandoned him for the evening.Park sighed."Such a shame."Quinn looked at him.

"What is?"

"Family matters."

She didn’t ask.

Smart woman.

’Maybe it is for the best.’

He could take some time to clear his thoughts before seeing his sisters, his father, and the woman with bodyguards who treated cabinets like they were part of the military.

This was his first day in this world, his first day in the Bennett house, and his first day carrying a System whose abilities he barely understood.

A bit of preparation wouldn’t be bad.

He needed to understand the memories, decide how much of the old Park he wanted to keep, and make sure he could live this new life without seeming like he had been swapped out.

That was exactly what had happened, which was frustrating.

He also needed some privacy if he was to check the System gifts.

He was much more interested in that part.

By the time he had turned his thoughts into a rough plan, he and Quinn had already reached the third floor.

This was where the main family slept.

In theory, the arrangement seemed close-knit, with parents and children on the same floor, apart from the formal rooms and staff areas below.

But in reality, the third floor felt like a silent family group chat. Everyone was there, but no one was really talking.

The Chancellor and Alexander had the central private wing overlooking the back gardens. Each of Park’s three sisters had their own section off the main hallway, with a bedroom suite, sitting room, dressing rooms, a bath, and enough extra space to disappear for days.

Park’s room was at the far end of the left wing.

His own wing, really.

Ahead, the hallway stretched on, lit by warm pools of light. Dark wood, pale walls, and tall windows lined the corridor, offering a view of the front courtyard. He could see cars parked far down the drive, their roofs shining under the estate lamps.

They walked so far that Park realized why the Bennetts could avoid each other, even while living on the same floor.

Their bedrooms were only close if you looked at a floor plan.

It almost felt like they needed passports just to visit each other.

Dark double doors were located at the very end of the corridor.

Park slowed.

Each handle had the Bennett crest engraved on it. The security panel by the door recognized him before he even touched it, and the lock clicked open from inside.

His room.

The inherited memories and body remembered where the door led, where the lights were, where he had put his things, and which parts of the room used to feel comfortable.

But Park himself had never entered.

He stood there for a moment, staring at the doors as the day’s events caught up with him.

Dead in one world.

Alive in another. An actor.A secret heir. The hidden son of the Prime Minister and Royal Chancellor.

Now, he owned an entire wing of a mansion hidden in a private forest.

Park took a breath, moved to the handle, and looked back at Quinn.

"Inside."

She looked at him for a moment, clearly wondering why he suddenly wanted company in a room he usually kept to himself, but she didn’t ask any questions.

That was fine. He wanted someone nearby who understood the estate, not someone who would have to deal with his impossible situation.

The lights turned on section by section.

And Park stopped.

It turned out that his bedroom was not a bedroom.

That was a completely different problem.
