Peerless Perverted Actor Has a Celebrity Harem?!

Chapter 24: Names in the New World

Park recognised the old man after a second.

Lord Edmund Harrow... former Chief Justice of the Imperial Court. Famous for destroying corrupt ministers with the exact same calm face he was using right now while his dog dragged him toward a flowerbed.

A young woman crossed a huge front courtyard in perfect riding clothes, one hand on the reins of a black stallion whose coat shone like polished ink. Two stable hands followed her while a peacock wandered across the driveway.

Celestine Vale. Third daughter of House Vale. Royal Academy student known for winning every equestrian competition she entered, refusing interviews, and once breaking a prince’s nose at a charity banquet.

Park immediately liked her more.

Another estate opened briefly between the trees, showing a big practice field where half a dozen kids were fencing under instructors. Beyond them, falcons circled a stone tower while white deer wandered lazily through the gardens.

Nobody looked rich... nobody needed to really.

They all moved with the easy confidence of people who’d never once questioned whether they belonged or whether the world would make space for them.

The district was quieter than the capital, but never completely silent.

Park lowered the window an inch.

Fresh-cut grass, damp stone, flowers, and something warm from a private bakery replaced the usual city mix of fuel, perfume, and street food.

’Even the air here apparently has to show up properly dressed.’

Then Park spotted a young guy jogging along one of the winding avenues.

About nineteen. Tall, athletic, and annoyingly good-looking, his dark training clothes had a silver hawk embroidered on the chest.

The Ashcroft family.

Leon Ashcroft...

The borrowed memories handed Park the name before he even had to look for it.

Second-year at the Royal Imperial Academy. Captain of the Academy’s Combat Society. Insanely talented swordsman and just as talented at collecting disciplinary reports.

Rumour said he’d challenged three instructors to duels in a single semester.

Rumour also said he’d somehow won one.

Leon ran with two security vehicles keeping careful distance behind him, but he moved like the entire road belonged to him. When he noticed the Bennett convoy, his eyes stayed on the rear window for a second before a sharp, almost challenging smile crossed his face.

Park watched him disappear under the trees.

"...Right."

So that kind of idiot existed here too.

’Comforting...’

They passed another Royal Academy student soon after—a pale-haired girl sitting under a flowering tree with three open books spread around her and a maid holding an umbrella over her head even though the sky was completely clear.

Evelyn Everdawn... First in the Academy’s academic rankings. Hadn’t spoken a single word in public for almost two years and nobody knew if she was shy, arrogant, or just waiting for the rest of humanity to become interesting enough to talk to.

A few estates later, a group of boys in academy jackets crowded around a silver sports car while one of them argued with a very angry traffic officer. Park recognised the loudest one immediately.

Cassian Valmont... Heir to House Valmont.

Excellent grades, excellent connections, and a reputation for turning every royal gala into a future apology.

’There is probably entire Chapters of trouble attached to that face.’

The convoy kept moving before Park could decide if that was exciting or exhausting.

An estate flew the crimson-and-gold phoenix of House Valmont. Another showed the silver stag of the Everdawns, carved so deep into the pale stone that vines had started growing through the antlers. A third carried the unmistakable black dragon of House Blackthorne—one of the oldest military bloodlines in the Empire, the kind of family whose tree had enough decorated generals to fill a museum.

Park recognised more names than he expected.

Some from politics. Some from business. Some from scandals big enough to survive generations.

The Crown District wasn’t just where powerful families lived.

It was where names stopped being surnames and became institutions.

Every estate carried something of the family behind it.

House Vale kept massive riding grounds and long white stables. The Blackthorne estate looked like a fortress that had only slightly softened for its gardens, with high towers watching over private training fields. House Everdawn’s home almost disappeared under glass domes, libraries, and silver-leafed trees brought from the northern provinces.

One estate had its own vineyard even though it sat inside the capital. Another had a private stone bridge connecting two parts of the property above the public road. A third held a botanical dome so huge that artificial rain clouds drifted under its glass roof.

There were the stranger ones:

A manor wrapped in black mourning banners even though Park couldn’t remember any recent death from that family. A beautiful estate whose gates had been chained shut, the gardens grown wild enough to swallow the statues along the path. Another where every window stayed dark except one at the very top, glowing faintly behind crimson curtains.

Even the guards nearby avoided looking at it.

Park almost turned to ask Quinn, then stopped himself.

He had memories. He’d dig through them later.

’The mystery can survive another ten minutes.’

By the time another avenue opened in front of them, Park had stopped just admiring the beautiful houses and started wondering what kind of people lived behind each crest.

What monsters. What geniuses. What disasters waiting for the right season to start.

Every wall hid another story. Every estate held another family that could nudge the entire Empire in a new direction without ever standing in front of a camera.

And mixed in with them were the Royal Imperial Academy students—heirs and heiresses still young enough to cause trouble themselves, but powerful enough for that trouble to become national news.

Park watched another set of gates close behind them and felt the size of his new life settling over him.

Getting famous might actually be the easy part.

Surviving the people who’d been born famous, powerful, and dangerous?

’That sounds like the real plot.’
