For a second the only sound was the tap dripping once.

Park just stared.

Then he let out this low, bewildered, kinda delighted laugh that bounced off the tiles.

"What in the actual hell..."

He pressed the heel of his hand to his forehead, still laughing under his breath.

"You glitched?" he told the panel, sounding way too entertained. "You glitched, you magnificent broken machine?"

The System didn’t answer.

Park stared at the new tab sitting at the bottom like it was pretending to be normal but glowing with way too much calm.

Park’s grin pulled wider without permission.

"How tasteful," he muttered. "How elegant. How completely unhelpful for a guy trying not to die twice in one week."

Park ignored his thoughts with the energy of someone ignoring a fire alarm in a casino.

Park let out a low whistle.

He exhaled through his nose.
