Adrian just stared at the screen.

He let out a heavy, annoyed sigh.

’Well, if it is like that, then I will just take the loss this time.’ Adrian grumbled.

It was annoying, but he had plenty of mana to spare anyway. He just opened his dungeon status screen and looked at it for a while.

’Use the stored mana.’ Adrian ordered. ’Make ten skeletons and equip them with sickles.’

He planned to put those ten skeletons in the seven acre grassland to constantly harvest the feed. But right as he gave the order, he realized how stupid that was.

He was the Dungeon Master. He did not need physical workers when he had dungeon link. His system could control the dungeon itself, which meant that the harvest could be done automatically.

’Wait, no.’ Adrian stopped himself. ’Do not make the skeletons. Just harvest the grass automatically in time and feed it directly to the cows.’

[Affirmative.]

The system instantly generated the extra twenty two acres of land. Creating this extra land only cost him two hundred and twenty mana, which was basically nothing to him right now.

’Move the cows over.’ Adrian ordered, and the system teleported the livestock into the new area.

’Now tell me how the whole thing is going to work out.’ Adrian asked.

[The 1,500 fully grown cattle will give birth in 15 real world days. They will require another 15 days to recover and gestate the next generation. The calves will reach a weight of 1 ton in exactly 15 days.]

Adrian looked at the screen and grinned.

’Okay, this is the perfect cycle.’ he thought.

He left the private farming zone and walked back to the main room.

Adrian stood in the massive room that held the Gacha Wheel. He looked at the combat training doors that were lined up against the walls, and decided to modify the layout. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

He used his authority to move the giant Gacha Wheel slightly to the right. Then he created a brand new wooden door right beside it.

This door connected straight to a totally separate farming instance meant specifically for his citizens.

He placed a glass orb right beside the door frame and it looked exactly like the one attached to the Gacha Wheel.

’This orb absorbs their mana.’ Adrian set the rules in the system. ’But it should only accept whole numbers. It should not take decimal values.’

If someone had 1.8 mana, the orb would only take 1 mana and ignore the rest.

’The minimum amount of land a person can get is one acre.’ Adrian added.

Then he integrated the party system.

’The maximum party limit is twenty five thousand mana.’ Adrian said.

He knew exactly how much mana his people generated. If the knights, the soldiers, and the regular citizens all dumped their mana into the dungeon at the exact same time, they produced close to sixty thousand mana in total.

If everyone wanted to form one massive group, the twenty five thousand cap would force them to split into at least two full parties and one incomplete party.

But Adrian made a solid prediction.

He knew his people were not going to unify in such a perfectly organized manner. Because when people have the freedom to farm their own way, they naturally form smaller parties. They’d want more direct control over what they do and what they sell.

So Adrian deliberately chose not to put a lower limit on the party size. Even a single person could make their own solo party as long as they had at least one full point of mana.

He designed the internal layout next.

He did not give the citizens the same grassy biome he used for his cows. He just gave them regular, fertile farmland and got a river right the middle so they could easily water their crops. As for the land itself, it was the same 25000 acres of land and each party would have it’s own instance.

’They need seeds.’ Adrian thought.

Since it would take time to get materials from outside the town, he decided that it would be good to provide the starting materials too.

He added a shop interface directly to their personal system screens.

’When they enter the farmland area, they should be able to access the shop.’ Adrian commanded. ’They should be able to buy seeds, saplings, and basic tools. The currency is just their own mana.’

He added one final rule.

’The party leader will have the exclusive access to buy things using the combined mana pool of everyone in the party.’

This made the party leader’s role incredibly important. The citizens would have to carefully select who they trusted before they walked through the door.

Adrian finished the settings and stepped away. He completely left the rest up to the citizens. How they managed their farms and distributed their profits was entirely up to them.

Next, he walked over to the Gacha Wheel.

He opened the drop rate menu and made a modification.

’If someone inserts the golden knight badge into the machine, alter the rewards.’ Adrian said.

’Give them an eighty percent chance of dropping steel ingots.’ Adrian set the values. ’And a twenty percent chance of dropping one kilogram of mana enhanced meat.’

This was the premium cow meat he would harvest soon.

But he did not activate this change immediately. The design and the rules were locked into the system, but he put it on hold. He needed to wait fifteen days for the first batch of cows to actually mature before he could hand out the meat.

Adrian finally walked out of the dungeon and headed toward the bustling training fields. He found an empty wooden bench, sat down, and pulled a blank piece of paper from his dungeon.
