The man had been standing directly in front of Su Qing. As she led Li Huan into the courtyard, the other three men were positioned behind and to the sides. But this one was blocking her path, so naturally, Su Qing didn’t hold back.

"ARGH—" The man let out a bloodcurdling scream. Su Qing’s kick sent him flying from the courtyard straight into the house, followed by a cacophony of clattering and crashing from inside.

"You damn bitch, you actually dare to be so vicious!" The other three men were stunned. Forgetting everything else, they lunged forward to grab Su Qing and Li Huan.

Su Qing didn’t waste any time. She pulled three stones from her space and hurled them at the three men, each one striking them squarely on the neck.

With three dull THUDS, the men dropped to the ground without so much as a grunt.

"Su Qing, you’re incredible!" Li Huan stared, wide-eyed, barely able to process what she was seeing. ’Is Su Qing really this strong?’

Su Qing ignored the men on the ground and walked straight into the house. The commotion had startled the man inside, who now came running out. "Who’s here? You guys..."

His words died in his throat as he saw his four downed comrades in the house and the courtyard. He jumped in shock, then his gaze fell on the approaching Su Qing and Li Huan. "You two did this?" he roared in fury.

Su Qing spotted Lan Cao in the corner of the room and told Li Huan to stay by her side. Without another word, Su Qing lunged forward and threw the man to the ground.

The man tried to fight back, but he was no match for Su Qing’s overwhelming strength. He was pinned to the floor before he could even make a move.

"Ma’am, spare me! Spare my life!" The man knew which way the wind was blowing; realizing he was completely outmatched, he immediately started groveling. "I don’t know how we brothers offended you, Ma’am. Please, just tell us what we did wrong, and we’ll make it right, we’ll apologize."

"Besides the five of you, is there anyone else?" Su Qing asked bluntly, cutting straight to the point.

"Ah, well, Ma’am, what are you—OW, OW! Ma’am, go easy!" The man hadn’t understood her question and was about to ask for clarification when Su Qing twisted his arm behind his back. The pain made his voice crack. "No one! There’s no one else! It’s just the five of us brothers!"

"Why are you kidnapping young girls?" Su Qing demanded coldly.

"Oww... we brothers were just... just having a bit of fun." The man couldn’t bear the agony. It was excruciating. He had no idea what Su Qing was doing to him, but the pain had him trembling uncontrollably.

"How many people have you taken in total?" Su Qing’s voice was ice. "I want the truth."

The man was about to say they only had the one girl in the house, but Su Qing’s icy tone stopped him. He didn’t dare lie. "Thir... thirteen."

"How... how many?!" Li Huan, who had been listening from the side, stammered in shock. "Thir... thirteen?"

Hearing this, Su Qing’s voice grew even colder. "All women and children?"

As she spoke, she applied more pressure.

"AAGH, I’ll talk, I’ll talk!" The man was in agony. He hurriedly blurted out, "Yes, three women and ten children."

"They’re... they’re human traffickers," Li Huan realized, and in a fit of rage, she ran forward and kicked the man a few times. "You traffickers! You all deserve to die!"

"When were you planning to make the trade for these people?" Su Qing ignored his pleas and continued her interrogation.

"Tomo... tomorrow night. Someone’s coming here to pick them up... OWW!" the man said quickly.

Su Qing let out a cold laugh, showing no mercy. "You’re lying. Did you really think I couldn’t tell you were mixing truths with falsehoods?"

The man’s heart skipped a beat. "Ma’am, I wouldn’t dare lie to you," he said hastily.

"Speak. How many of you are there, really?" Su Qing increased the pressure. She had to root out every single one of them today. She wasn’t afraid for herself, but Li Huan had been dragged into this, and she couldn’t let her friend be put in danger.

The man clamped his mouth shut, refusing to speak.

"Not talking?"

Su Qing casually pulled a rag from her bag, stuffed it into the man’s mouth, and then pressed several points on his body.

"MMMPH! MMPH!" An intense, biting sensation spread through the man’s entire body. It wasn’t just pain; it was a searing burn, like salt being poured into open wounds. Cold sweat beaded on his forehead. He tried to scream, but his cries were muffled by the rag. The inability to scream seemed to make the pain even worse. He wanted to pass out, but a cruel, unnatural clarity kept him wide awake.

"If you don’t talk, you can just endure this. Let’s see how long you last," Su Qing said coldly.

"Mmmph... mmmph..." The man couldn’t take it anymore. He nodded frantically at Su Qing, signaling his surrender.

Seeing this, Su Qing pressed two more points on his body, and the pain subsided. She pulled the rag from his mouth. "Talk. Tell me one more lie, and I guarantee I’ll make it ten times worse."

The trade is tomorrow night, but we’re the ones making the delivery. If we don’t show up on time with the ’goods,’ it’s a signal that something went wrong here, and this location will be abandoned."

Su Qing sneered. "Quite the loyal friend, aren’t you? Facing death and still trying to protect your accomplices."

The man gritted his teeth and said nothing.

"When will those two get back?"

"Probably tomorrow morning," the man mumbled. "I’m not sure. They’ll probably spend the night somewhere else before coming back."

Without another question, Su Qing knocked the man unconscious with a single chop to the neck. She then walked over to the one she’d kicked into the house. Even though he was still out cold, she delivered another chop to his neck, just to make sure he wouldn’t be waking up anytime soon.

"Su Qing, you’re just... you’re amazing." Li Huan stared at the unconscious men, took a deep breath, and looked at Su Qing with pure adoration.

Su Qing looked a little embarrassed. "I’m sorry for getting you involved in this tonight. I hope it doesn’t affect you too much. These people are monsters."

"I’m not scared," Li Huan said quickly. "Don’t worry about me, Su Qing. Once these human traffickers are arrested, they’ll never get out."

"That’s good." With that, Su Qing headed into the back room.

Li Huan followed her in. When she saw the scene in the back room, she gasped. "Oh my god!"
