Brother Sun’s smile grew even more triumphant. "Don’t waste your energy. That’s a venomous snake I’ve specially raised. Not even a cobra can compare to it. It’s useless no matter how much blood you try to squeeze out."

"HA HA HA, he deserves it," the other two criminals cackled smugly.

Unable to restrain himself, one of the team members strode forward and punched Brother Sun hard. "You bastard."

Brother Sun crumpled to the ground from the blow. He casually spat out a mouthful of bloody saliva and continued to laugh wildly, infuriating the team members. But they had no antivenom on hand. The only thing they could do was squeeze the blood from Xiao Zhang’s wound and tie a tourniquet nearby to try and slow the poison’s spread. Beyond that, they were helpless.

Qiao Wensong also saw Xiao Zhang’s wound. It was on the back of his hand, marked by two distinct puncture holes. The area around the wound had already swollen up—a clear snakebite. The idea had come to her after Mr. Gong gave her a vial of sedative. She had bought a large number of empty vials from Mr. Gong and concocted a few powders and liquids with different effects, bottling them separately for emergencies.

"Ah, what’s... what’s this?" The team member took the vial, opened it, and frowned at the slightly bitter smell. He looked toward Qiao Wensong, his expression clearly asking, ’Will this really work?’

Su Qing urged, "Hurry up. If you don’t treat him now, he’ll lose his life."

Qiao Wensong gritted his teeth. "Give it to him."

Hearing Qiao Wensong’s order, the team member with the vial knew this was their only option. He immediately steeled himself and poured the medicine into Xiao Zhang’s mouth.

Seeing that Xiao Zhang had taken the medicine, Su Qing sprinkled the powder from the vial in her hand onto the wound on the back of his hand.

"Alright, just a moment. He should wake up soon," Su Qing said, standing up and turning to Qiao Wensong.

"Really?" the other team members asked excitedly when they heard her. "Is Xiao Zhang really going to be okay?"

"Yes, don’t worry," Su Qing said, full of confidence.

"Hmph, arrogant," Brother Sun sneered, thinking Su Qing was just boasting.

Hearing this, Su Qing didn’t say a word. She strode forward and kicked Brother Sun square in the face.

Brother Sun felt a sharp pain in his mouth. He opened it and spat out two more teeth.

"AAAAAAH, YOU FUCKING BITCH!" Brother Sun was about to lose his mind. In such a short time, this woman had already knocked out four of his teeth. Now he spoke with a lisp!

Xiao Zhang only remembered his hand being suddenly bitten by a snake. Then, he quickly felt dizzy, and after that, he knew nothing.

"You did, but you should be fine now." After saying that, the team member turned to Su Qing for confirmation. "Doctor, is Xiao Zhang out of danger?"

Because Su Qing had medicine, the team member automatically assumed she was a doctor.

Su Qing smiled and said, "I’m not a doctor. This is just some snakebite medicine I carry with me. He should be fine now. The wound should have stopped bleeding black blood. Wipe the powder off the back of his hand and reapply some more."

"Impossible! Impossible!" Brother Sun’s lisping voice cut in. "There’s no cure for this snake’s venom! Not even antivenom works! How could he be cured? Impossible!"

But no one paid him any attention. Even the two team members guarding the three criminals were looking at Xiao Zhang with pleasant surprise, completely ignoring his words.

Qiao Wensong was ecstatic. He went over to check Xiao Zhang’s wound and ask how he was feeling. Then, he turned to Su Qing gratefully. "Thank you so much. You’ve helped us out in a huge way again.
