Su Qing carefully picked out five pure-gamble roughs. The quality of the stones here was quite good—out of all the ones she’d touched, the vast majority contained jadeite. Su Qing turned, shocked, to look at the raw stone beside her. It was a considerable size, roughly half a meter in length, width, and height. Large black patches covered each of its four sides. In fact, the entire stone was practically enveloped by them.

Su Qing looked at the mossy rough and smiled. "I don’t know much about this stuff. I’m just here to try my luck. I thought this one looked pretty special, so I bought it to see. If there’s jadeite, I’ve profited. If not, it’s no big deal. It’s all up to luck anyway."

"Mhm, that’s true." Hearing Su Qing’s reasoning, Cheng Beilin immediately agreed. "I feel the same way. It’s fine. So what if it has moss? We’ll just cut it for fun."

The fact that Su Qing was here buying rough stones told Cheng Beilin that she wasn’t short on cash. After all, stone gambling was a huge risk. Anyone without a good amount of disposable income wouldn’t dare come here and throw money around.

Su Qing pursed her lips and smiled.

"Are you going to have your stones cut in a bit?" Cheng Beilin asked.

"Yes, I am." Su Qing nodded. There was no way she could carry so many stones home by herself. She might as well have them all cut here, sell the ones she didn’t want, and keep the ones she liked.

"Great! Wait for me, we’ll go together," Cheng Beilin said quickly to Su Qing, then urged the staff to hurry up and ring her up.

Right now, everyone was still looking at stones, so there were few people at the checkout. Soon, both of them were paid up, and the staff helped them push the stones to the cutting machines.

There were three cutting machines over here, all of which were currently free. So, Su Qing and Cheng Beilin simply took one each and asked the cutting masters to help them cut their stones.

Seeing that the two were about to have stones cut, a number of people immediately gathered around.
