Pioneer Lord: I Have Conquering System

In the open grounds of High Cliff Castle, Zat let out a roar and charged toward Levi. His seven-hundred-pound weight seemed to make the very ground tremble.

The force of his charge was no less than that of a stampeding herd of wild yaks.

Baisitina, who was walking over with Jos, was terrified by the scene.

Unaware of the circumstances, she thought the Beastman had gone berserk and attacked Levi.

Looking at Levi’s thin arms and legs, she thought it was only a matter of time before a punch from that fist—larger than a man’s head—squashed him flat.

But that wasn’t a sight she wanted to see right now.

She shrieked instinctively, "Jos, you have to stop that Beastman!"

Baisitina had pinned most of her hopes on this chivalrous Lord.

If Levi were killed by this Beastman, their hopes of getting out of the Kas Mountain Range would become even slimmer.

Jos: ’Me???’

Seeing Baisitina’s anxious expression, Jos was utterly bewildered. The Beastman’s thigh alone was as thick as his waist. Compared to him, Jos was like a newborn bear cub next to its burly father.

He didn’t think his Swordsmanship was refined enough to overcome such a massive disparity in size and strength.

Seeing the excited expressions on the surrounding Beastmen and Jackal Wolfmen, Jos felt that things were definitely not as simple as they appeared.

If this Beastman had really gone berserk, the other Beastmen watching would have already jumped in and pinned him down.

From the moment he’d first seen Sir Levi, Jos could tell he was an intelligent man.

He would never do something that would put him in mortal danger.

To be dueling this Beastman now, he clearly had an ace up his sleeve.

What he couldn’t figure out was the source of that confidence.

Humans could only fight against these Alien Races, who possessed an innate Talent for Power, by relying on refined Martial Arts, Swordsmanship, and superior equipment. Yet this Lord didn’t even have his Sword; he was bare-handed.

’Surely he doesn’t intend to take this Beastman down with wrestling?’

’That’s ridiculous. This Beastman could kill a wild boar just by sitting on it. And when it comes to wrestling, Beastmen are the experts.’

Jos shook his head, dismissing the unrealistic thought.

In the center of the field, Levi looked as pitiful as a small white rabbit caught by a Jungle Tiger in the Kas Mountain Range. Baisitina couldn’t even bear to open her eyes and watch.

"Not bad."

Levi commented with a note of approval as he watched Zat charge. Zat had been through many battles recently and had even leveled up twice.

All his Attribute Points had been allocated to Power, and the increase in his strength was significant.

’At least he can take a few more of my serious hits now.’

The two clashed in an instant, one thick arm locking against one thin one. Zat summoned all his strength, and the veins on his pillar-thick arms bulged like writhing earthworms.

His deep green face flushed red with exertion, yet he still couldn’t budge Levi in the slightest.

He felt like he was wrestling a mountain. More importantly, his body was uncontrollably being lifted, bit by bit, into the air.

The terrifying feeling of having no solid ground beneath his feet made his face fill with panic. He struggled desperately, but in the next moment...

BAM!

A flawless, undeniable back throw!

Baisitina squeezed her eyes shut. At the earth-shattering sound of flesh slamming into the ground, an involuntary shudder ran through her body.

She couldn’t bear to look at the carnage. ’It must look like a ripe persimmon smashed on a cutting board,’ she thought.

’Levi’s dead. I can’t possibly control a group of Beastmen and Jackal Wolfmen. The Alliance Army will be attacking High Cliff Castle next... I have to get my people out of here, go back to the Kas Mountain Range first, and then find another...’

"He... he won?" Jos’s incredulous murmur came from beside her.

At the same time, thunderous cheers from the Beastmen erupted, echoing high above High Cliff Castle.

’Huh? He... won? He really won! How is that possible? Yes!!!’

Baisitina was cheering wildly inside. She had never been so happy.

Well, except for that time a year ago when her uncle tried to force her to marry a Barbarian Chieftain, only for said uncle to slip, fall off a cliff, and die.

When she heard the news, she had hidden under her blankets, secretly laughing to herself.

"Ptui! Again!"

Zat rolled over and climbed to his feet from the crater his body had made in the grass. He spat out a mouthful of weeds, his eyes filled with determination.

"Commendable courage."

Levi expressed his approval.

’The big lug has really improved,’ Levi thought. ’Before, after taking one serious hit, he’d just lie on the ground and give up, refusing to fight again no matter what I said.’

"Heh heh. Boss, I’m definitely no match for you. But what if you add Muto to the mix?"

Unfortunately, Zat’s determined image didn’t even last for two seconds. He broke into a grin and pointed at Muto, who was gloating on the sidelines.

"Huh? Me?" Muto sensed things were going south and instinctively wanted to flee.

But a single glance from Levi forced him back.

"Fine. This Lord has been itching for some action lately anyway."

Levi nodded. He had just wanted to warm up, since it had been a while since he’d had a proper workout.

Muto entered the field, shooting Zat a venomous glare.

Ever since being thrown around by the boss dozens of times in the Gladiatorial Arena, he’d developed a deep-seated trauma and had sworn never to wrestle with his boss again.

He never thought that bastard Zat would drag him down with him.

Zat shot a smug glance back at Muto, a look that clearly said, ’We’re best buddies, we have to suffer together!’

"Levi..."

Baisitina was on the verge of tears from anxiety. She didn’t know how Levi had won, but a win was a win! Why would he want to fight the Beastmen again—and two of them this time?

"Come."

Levi beckoned with his hand.

Facing two burly Beastman Barbarians, his expression remained calm; he clearly didn’t even consider them a threat.

Muto and Zat exchanged a glance, then charged Levi in unison.

"Oof!" x2

The two Giant Beasts were sent flying back just as quickly as they had charged, and they lay on the ground, wailing.

Though it was clearly mostly for show.

Levi frowned. Forget warming up; he hadn’t even used twenty percent of his strength.

Still unsatisfied, he looked at the crowd of spectating Beastmen and beckoned with his finger.

"All of you, come at me together. Let your Lord see if you’ve been slacking off on your training."

The Beastmen exchanged glances, then surrounded Levi, all of them bare-handed.

"He’s insane! Utterly insane!"

Jos muttered, watching Levi’s insane move.

He admitted that Levi flipping the first Beastman had been shocking enough. Seeing him effortlessly handle two more made him feel like he’d just seen one of the Undead.

But there were over fifty Beastman Barbarians here!

They could drown him in spit alone.

If each of those fifty Beastmen landed a single punch, it would be enough to grind his bones to powder and scatter them on the wind across the entire Wilderness.

Unfortunately, his muttering didn’t last long. Soon, a horde of Beastman Barbarians lunged toward Levi in the center.

A continuous series of thuds—the sound of bodies hitting the ground—began to echo from the field. It was as if High Cliff Castle itself were experiencing a minor earthquake.
