Further advancement split into three paths. The first was the Archer path: Federation Longbowmen, Feder Forest Rangers, and Feder Rangers. The second was the light cavalry path: Feder Cavalry and Feder Light Cavalry.

The third was the melee path of the Feder Guard.

Of the three paths, the Archer path had a full six tiers, while the cavalry and infantry paths only had five and four tiers, respectively.

Clearly, developing them along the Archer path offered greater potential.

Conveniently, High Cliff Castle already had the Beastman Barbarians as heavy infantry for frontline melee and the Jackal Wolfmen for cavalry. Developing the Feder Remnants into Archers would diversify High Cliff Castle’s unit composition, resolving the awkward situation of having javelins as their only ranged attack option.

The only thing Levi found somewhat regrettable was that among the nineteen Feder Remnants, there were only two Tier Three Feder Warriors and seven Tier Two soldiers. The rest were all greenhorn Tier One soldiers.
