“Damn, these bastards!” Sui San slammed his fist on the table.

“If not for Miss Ailuodi’s assistance, we would have run into big trouble this time,” Mamba looked toward Ailuodi. “I forgot to say this yesterday, so I hope it’s not too late today: thank you.”

“You’re welcome,” Ailuodi replied, though she knew in her heart that things were not that simple.

Big trouble? No… If the attackers’ goal was to eliminate most of the Angels, then their plan was undoubtedly quite successful.

“Alright, I have no more questions,” the girl shrugged, indicating she would reluctantly accept this reasoning.

“Yes,” Dan magnified the map. “According to satellite maps, there’s no airport on the island suitable for landing, so we’ll have to fly to Majuro Atoll first and then drive a speedboat to approach Walazak Island; it’s the least consuming method. After landing, I can start searching for an entrance, but as for what happens once we get inside, that remains unknown.”

“When do we leave? We’ve used up most of our energy; if possible, it would be best to delay a bit,” proposed Sui San.

“My original plan was tomorrow, but an attack has thrown everything off,” K said somewhat helplessly. “You do need time to recover, but the threat of the enemy is also imminent.
