On the other side, inside the office, Suzanne returned after opening the door and was surprised and confused to see Scarlett still sitting there.

"Sister Scar? Why are you still here? It’s Friday, you don’t have classes, shouldn’t you have gone home already?"

"I’m waiting for someone." Scarlett sat in the chair, looking out the window, and said expressionlessly.

"Waiting for someone?" Suzanne was stunned for a moment, then immediately realized. This person must be Andrew.

’Wow! Our cold Professor Scarlett has actually started waiting for a man.’

Compared to Suzanne immersing herself in the joy of shipping a couple, Scarlett’s mood wasn’t very good as she watched the increasingly dense raindrops outside the window.

Her bad memories also happened under this kind of gloomy, drizzling weather.

Even though so much time had passed, whenever she saw a rainy day, memories would flood her mind, as if they had happened just yesterday.

It’s been so long; it’s better not to think about it anymore.

Scarlett silently comforted herself. After coming back to her senses, she couldn’t help but worry about Andrew.

Why hasn’t the Little Fellow arrived yet? Didn’t he say he was moving things and cleaning the studio? Could it be that he hasn’t finished moving yet?

Scarlett sent a message to Andrew, but he didn’t reply, which made her worry even more.

Meanwhile, Andrew and Mark Vane had already braved the rain and arrived at the station, taking out the last six or seven assorted delivery boxes.

Mark Vane stacked five relatively small boxes together and then held them up, "I’ll go first then. I’ll come back later to help you move that backdrop board."

"No need. I should be fine by myself. This thing isn’t heavy."

"Then be careful. I’m leaving."

After Mark Vane left alone, Andrew looked at the large, square box and fell into deep thought.

It was inconvenient whether he held it horizontally or vertically.

Andrew thought about pulling Ethan over to help him move it, but the other guy and his roommates had gone out for a meal and were all without umbrellas, so he didn’t even know how they would get back now.

"Forget it, I’ll just carry it however is most comfortable. At worst, I’ll take a break in the middle."

Andrew picked up the box and entered the rain. Because the box was too big, he couldn’t run; he could only walk slowly.

Not long after walking, Andrew’s arm started aching badly, so he had to put the box down to rest.

Then he changed the way he held it and continued walking, putting it down to rest again when his arm got sore.

Andrew almost regretted not waiting for Mark Vane to return; moving it alone was too troublesome. The box wasn’t actually heavy, but because it was so big, he had to stretch his arms out completely to hold it, which tired him out easily.

After repeating this cycle for half the journey, Andrew put the box down again and shook his arms to rest.

His shirt was completely soaked, and he couldn’t distinguish the rainwater from his sweat.

Andrew rested, panting, when he suddenly noticed the rain seemed to have stopped, but the sound of the drizzling rain still lingered in his ears.

He immediately realized someone was holding an umbrella over him, so he spoke to express his thanks, "Thank you."

But when he turned his head to move the box aside, the familiar, cool face startled him.

"Scar! Why are you here? Don’t you dislike going out in the rain?"

"I saw you hadn’t arrived, and you weren’t replying to my messages, so I came to find you."

Scarlett said lightly, holding the umbrella with one hand and taking out a tissue with the other to wipe the rainwater from Andrew’s face.

Andrew smiled a little awkwardly, "Maybe because of the rain, I didn’t hear the ringtone."

Looking at Andrew, who was completely drenched, Scarlett felt a pang of heartache, and her brows furrowed slightly, "Why didn’t you let someone else help you move it? The weather is turning cold now; getting soaked by the rain can easily lead to a cold, do you know that?"

"It’s fine, I’ll just take a hot shower when I get back," Andrew replied with a smile, rubbing the back of his head.

Then he picked up the box again, "Scar, please wait for me for a moment. I’ll go back with you after I move."

"I’ll hold the umbrella for you."

"No need. I’m already soaked anyway; it doesn’t matter."

"It’s better to get less wet."

Scarlett still insisted on holding the umbrella for Andrew.

The two walked toward the new campus area together.

But Scarlett soon realized that it was too tiring for Andrew to carry such a large box by himself.

Just as Andrew’s arms were about to ache badly again and he couldn’t hold on any longer, the umbrella sheltering his head suddenly closed.

"Scar? Why did you close the umbrella? You’ll get wet too, won’t you?" 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

Andrew was full of shock and confusion. Under his gaze, he saw Scarlett hook the closed umbrella onto her wrist and use both hands to support the other side of the box.

"I’ll help you move it. If I get wet, I’ll just take a shower when we get back."

"This..."

Andrew wanted to say something more, but Scarlett’s white top was already more than half soaked by the rain. There was no point in arguing further; his heart was already filled with gratitude.

"Scar, you are so beautiful."

"Hm? Why are you suddenly complimenting me on being beautiful?" Scarlett looked at Andrew, puzzled.

"You said it. You told me not to say thank you, but to compliment you on being beautiful more often."

"That is true."

Scarlett’s lips curved slightly, "But I haven’t seen you compliment me often."

"Saying you’re beautiful all the time sounds too perfunctory."

"You can vary what you say, can’t you? You can even be more detailed about where I’m beautiful."

Andrew was silent for a moment, then said, "Scar, the way your hair is soaked right now is quite beautiful. You have the look of a lotus emerging from the water."

Scarlett listened and nodded. ’If you can say it, say more; I like to listen.
