After rolling up the car window, Scarlett drove away.

Andrew hurried toward the center of the playground, in the direction of Finance Class Four.

After taking just a few steps, Ethan and Tony caught up and asked Andrew.

"Whose car was that just now? Is your roommate a teacher at our school?"

As he walked, Tony looked back at the receding white vehicle and said, "An Audi A6, worth over 80K $. They’re definitely rich."

"Um... you’ve pretty much guessed it."

How could Andrew explain?

He didn’t even know where to start, so he could only answer like that.

"So your roommate really is a teacher at our school. No wonder you had to accompany him for dinner last night; it turns out you were called away by a teacher."

Ethan naturally assumed Andrew’s roommate was a male teacher.

After all, co-ed renting only exists in novels and TV dramas; it’s far too rare in reality.

Ethan wanted to ask more, but Andrew stopped him with a single sentence.

"You two should finish the buns in your hands first. Don’t let the instructor see you later, or you’ll be punished immediately."

"It’s just a matter of a few bites. By the way, did you eat breakfast?"

"No, I woke up late and didn’t have time."

"Then aren’t you afraid of fainting during military training later?"

"Don’t worry, I won’t."

The three of them rushed to the assembly, nearly arriving late and being punished with laps.

After some long-winded lecturing, it was time for the top activity on every college student’s ’must-do’ list: standing at attention.

Standing still wasn’t so bad in itself; the scary part was doing it in temperatures over thirty degrees under the scorching sun.

After standing for over an hour, by the time break arrived, most students were so exhausted they slumped directly onto the ground.

Andrew was so hungry he felt dizzy and faint. He couldn’t even lift his head, sitting slumped on the ground with weak limbs. His bangs were soaked with sweat and stuck to his forehead.

"Sigh, Andy, see what I told you? Skipping breakfast during military training is definitely asking for trouble. Rest for a bit; we have to stand for another two hours later. I feel like you’re about to keel over."

Ethan sighed. He wanted to give Andrew something to eat, but food wasn’t allowed during military training, and he didn’t have anything on him anyway.

Just as he finished speaking, Tony suddenly exclaimed, "Holy crap, it looks like Lucy and the others secretly brought food."

"How did they bring it? The training uniforms don’t have pockets, do they?"

"A bag. They brought a bag and put the food in there."

"Impressive."

While marveling, Ethan turned to the listless Andrew and said, "Andy, why don’t you go try to get some? I think with your looks, you should be able to score some food."

"Psh, a gentleman does not eat food handed out in pity. I’m not going to beg. Besides, someone is bringing me food later."

Andrew’s words were tough, but his tone sounded like he was already half-dead.

"Give it a rest. You’re practically dying, and you’re still talking about being a gentleman? And who’s going to bring you food? I think you’re just suffering for the sake of your pride."

Andrew couldn’t help but glance at Ethan. "A beauty is bringing me food in a bit."

"A beauty? I think you’ve gone crazy from hunger and are hallucinating."

"And what if it’s true?"

"If a beauty really brings you food, I’ll eat shit on the spot."

"Heh, if you want to eat it, just say so. No need to use me as an excuse."

After they chatted for a while, Ethan suddenly cried out, "Holy crap, that bastard Tony actually went to ask for food."

"Trash, how embarrassing."

Andrew grumbled a complaint and laboriously lifted his head to look toward Lucy and the other girls.

He saw that idiot Tony already chatting with three girls.

Before long, one of the girls with decent looks named Olivia suddenly stood up and ran over to Andrew.

"Andrew, Tony said you didn’t eat breakfast. How about we exchange contact info, and I’ll give you this bread?"

This left Ethan and several other boys nearby dumbfounded.

A beauty taking the initiative to bring food and asking for contact info, no man would refuse that.

Olivia thought so too. She believed her looks could definitely rank in the top ten in the school. By taking the initiative to ask for Andrew’s contact info, she expected him to agree happily.

But to everyone’s surprise, Andrew just shook his head.

Ethan was stunned. He even shook Andrew to make sure he hadn’t gone crazy from hunger, "Holy crap, you’re refusing this? Is your brain fried?"

Olivia also didn’t expect Andrew to refuse. Unwilling to give up, she asked again, "Are you sure you don’t want it?"

Andrew just shook his head again.

He was too tired now and didn’t have the energy to explain further.

Being rejected twice by Andrew made Olivia feel like she was losing face, and resentment toward him began to well up in her heart.

What kind of person is he? I came over to give him food, and he refused? He really thinks highly of himself, doesn’t he? Even if he regrets it and comes looking for me later, I won’t agree.

Just as Olivia was about to leave, she was suddenly drawn to the commotion rising around the playground.

Amidst the noise of the crowd, several unified gasps could be heard.

"So beautiful!"

"I’m stunned!"

"The Angel Teacher!"

The atmosphere of hundreds and thousands of people staring and gasping was as if some celebrity had suddenly appeared on the playground, causing a spectacle.

Andrew listlessly lifted his head and quickly found the source of the commotion by following the focus of everyone’s gaze.

He saw an incredibly pretty, tall mature beauty entering from the playground entrance and walking toward finance class four.

Wearing a white gauze dress, she looked exceptionally dazzling amidst the sea of military-green freshmen.

Her exquisite face and snow-white skin attracted everyone’s gaze, while her cold demeanor gave off an aura of someone who could be admired from afar but not trifled with.

Wherever this mature beauty passed, the gasps and commotion would quiet down significantly.

Everyone was curious about who this heavenly female professor was looking for.

When Ethan saw her face clearly, he was shocked and a bit fearful. He didn’t dare look directly but secretly observed out of curiosity.

Upon realizing that Scarlett was walking in their direction, he couldn’t help but think of what Andrew had just said about someone bringing food.

Holy shit! No way!?

Seeing Scarlett approach, Andrew felt a surge of joy.

But remembering Scarlett’s terrifying manner from before, Andrew didn’t dare raise his hand to wave, only watching her.

Scarlett didn’t come to Andrew immediately but instead walked over to their instructor and said something.

Seeing this, Ethan breathed a sigh of relief, thinking he had guessed wrong.

Olivia was still somewhat puzzled. She narrowed her eyes and watched Scarlett.

Before her mind could fully process it, in the time it took her to daze off, Scarlett had reached Andrew’s side.

When she snapped out of it, she saw Scarlett reach out a hand and pull up Andrew, who was dizzy from hunger.
