Living With My Yandere Professor

Scarlett looked at the instant noodles in Andrew’s hand. After a moment of silence, she spoke calmly, "Am I very clumsy? I mess up every time I try to cook something in the kitchen."

Andrew had turned ordinary instant noodles into an exquisite tomato and egg noodle dish, complete with a fried egg and garnished with scallions, making it look very appetizing.

Before today, Scarlett had never imagined that instant noodles could be made to look and taste so good.

Yet, just a few days ago, she had messed up boiling honey syrup for Andrew.

In comparison, Scarlett felt very stupid.

"No, you’re not. Everyone has things they are good at. Scar, you became a university professor at such a young age, and your teaching ability is so strong. How could you be clumsy?"

Andrew shook his head to comfort her, continuing to feed her the noodles.

But Scarlett still hung her head, and the bear ears on her hat seemed to droop slightly.

"But studying and teaching don’t require much manual work. Anything that needs a little precision, I always mess up."

Seeing Scarlett looking so downcast, Andrew felt a pang of sympathy.

Psychology was right: when a person is uncomfortable and helpless, they are most prone to feeling low and overthinking.

"But when you have time, I don’t. When I have time, you’re busy. When will you ever have time to teach me?"

Scarlett felt this was like an unsolvable paradox.

"Well... there will always be time. For today, Scar, you just need to rest well."

"Are you still going out this afternoon?" Scarlett suddenly looked up and asked Andrew with a placid expression.

"I’m fine now. I’m not going out."

Even if he had plans, he had to say he didn’t now.

"Oh." After finishing the noodles, Scarlett’s mood improved considerably.

Andrew sliced some ginger and rock sugar and boiled them together for tea, then went to the bedroom to keep Scarlett company.

She was sitting on the bed, watching an anime on a laptop placed in front of her with her knees drawn up.

"Scar, you’re still watching Pokémon?" Andrew asked in surprise. He had always assumed that when Scarlett rested, she was always looking at academic material.

"Is that strange? I’ve been watching it since I was little." When Scarlett was very young, she loved watching all sorts of anime, and she still watches now. The only difference is that when she was young, she liked the hot-blooded parts, and now she likes the cute parts.

"No, I was just curious." Andrew sat down beside her and watched Pokémon with Scarlett.

He had watched Pokémon as a child on television, but the order was completely mixed up. One moment Ash had a Charizard, and the next it was a Charmander. Back then, Andrew vaguely thought the Charizard had devolved, only realizing later that the TV station had mixed up the episode order.

It was nice to rewatch it in the correct sequence now.

Scarlett had only been watching for a short while; the current plot involved Ash capturing Pikachu.

But Pikachu refused to enter the Poké Ball and even flicked the ball back with its tail.

This tsundere behavior reminded Andrew of Scarlett just now, the same turning away, and both were especially cute.

Scarlett also stared intently at the screen.

After watching for a while, Scarlett’s stomach started hurting again, and she clutched her abdomen with a pained expression.

She had lived alone for a long time. Because she used to be greedy and ate a lot of things that hurt her stomach, now every time her period came, she was in severe pain.

Seeing this, Andrew quickly got off the bed and went to the bathroom to prepare a hot towel.

Scarlett took it and placed the towel on her stomach, which made her feel a bit better.

To make the hot towel more effective, Andrew had only added a little cold water to the boiling water, dipping the towel in as soon as it was barely touchable, which resulted in both his hands turning bright red from the heat.

"Did you burn your hands?"

Watching the plot now felt somewhat cliché, even a bit awkward; Andrew could hardly bear to watch.

But Scarlett’s attention was entirely focused on Pikachu. Watching Ash holding the wet, adorable Pikachu, Scarlett unconsciously pursed her lips.

She really wanted to hug the Little Fellow. Suddenly, she turned her head and looked at Andrew with longing eyes.

Andrew flinched when she stared at him, ’What did Scar want?’

Just then, the alarm clock rang.

"Scar, the brown sugar ginger tea is ready. I’ll bring it to you."

Andrew immediately went to the kitchen and poured a cup of hot ginger tea for Scarlett.

Scarlett took a small sip, then frowned, not wanting to drink anymore. She could handle mildly spicy flavors now, but the taste of ginger was both numbing and sharp, making it hard to swallow.

Andrew saw what Scarlett was thinking. He knew the taste of ginger was awful, but he still needed her to drink it.

"Scar, just bear with it for a moment. It’s just one cup; it will be fine once you finish it."

"Then I’ll drink it, if you let me hug you for a while," Scarlett said expressionlessly, but her gaze was fixed straight on Andrew.

"Ok," Andrew nodded, he also now understand her habits.

She likes to hug him more.

Scarlett immediately lifted her head upon hearing this, snatched the cup, and downed the ginger tea in one gulp. Then, covering her mouth, she quickly handed the empty cup back to Andrew.

The entire process took less than three seconds, leaving Andrew stunned in place.

"Alright, I’ve finished drinking. Come and hug me now." Scarlett said lightly, her expression barely changing.

This made Andrew feel completely bewildered. But since he already got experience, he put down the cup and nervously climbed onto the bed, sitting in front of Scarlett.

To be honest, he found it strange himself. Why was he the nervous one always? Shouldn’t he be honored and excited? Besides, it wasn’t the first time.

But Andrew’s body couldn’t help but tense up. The moment Scarlett’s hands reached out and embraced him, his face instantly flushed slightly.

Especially the two soft sensations coming from behind made Andrew momentarily forget to breathe.

Scarlett, on the other hand, felt extremely satisfied, "Hehe, this Little Fellow is so comfortable to hug, soft and warm. I really want to hold him like this forever."

The two sat together, continuing to watch Pokémon.

Scarlett placed one hand on Andrew’s head, stroking his hair.

She really liked this feeling; stroking Andrew’s head gave her a sense of security.

Soon, psyduck appeared. Seeing that silly appearance, Andrew couldn’t help but want to laugh.

The artist was truly skilled to draw such a naturally simple-minded image.

But Psyduck was indeed very cute.

Scarlett looked at the scene in the animation where Misty was hugging psyduck, and the arm holding Andrew involuntarily tightened.

"Scar... I... I can’t breathe."

Andrew let out a pained groan.

Scarlett immediately loosened her grip when she heard this, allowing Andrew to catch his breath.

"Sorry, I got excited and thought you were psyduck."

Andrew gasped for air while silently complaining in his heart, "Why does it feel like she’s calling me an idiot?"
