In the living room of the rental house, Andrew sat on a chair, thinking about how to apologize to Scarlett.

Suddenly, Andrew’s phone alarm went off, making him open his eyes dizzily.

"How did I fall asleep?"

"Scarlett is coming back soon, I need to quickly think of a way to apologize to her."

Andrew rubbed his head while reaching out to grab his phone to turn off the alarm.

"Then why do you keep bowing and lowering your head?"

"I did something wrong, and now I’m apologizing to you."

Scarlett couldn’t help but let a smile tug at the corners of her mouth. He really is just a kid. Even his apology is like a child’s, though his attitude is quite sincere.

He’s a well-behaved child.

"Fine, now I’m telling you to lift your head."

"Oh."

Andrew obediently raised his head.

Scarlett leaned back in her chair and lifted her right leg.

Andrew thought she was going to kick him and instinctively took a step back.

Then he saw that Scarlett was just crossing her right leg over her left, realizing it was a false alarm.
