I'm a spinosaurus with a System to raise a dinosaur army

The albertosaurus was now alone, but it still had the advantage of agility. On the contrary, there were two deinosuchus, but they were much slower and couldn’t help but wait for the dinosaurus to attack first. In addition, the albertosaurus had another advantage: the two deinosuchus were quite far from each other, which meant that it could only deal with one of them at a time.

The deinosuchus opened its jaws and tried to bite the dinosaur, but it was clear that it was too tired by now. Crocodiles out of the water got tired very quickly, and the bigger they were, the worse it was. For a deinosuchus, moving a body twelve meters long and weighing more than eight tons on the ground was a titanic undertaking; however powerful their muscles were, their body shape wasn’t meant to hold all that weight out of the water.

The albertosaurus could only take the opportunity! It deftly dodged the crocodile’s jaws and grabbed it by the leg, turning it over. Once the abdomen was exposed, the albertosaurus pounced on it and ruptured it. After a few moments the entrails leaked and the blood splashed on the ground. Using [Ambush] Sobek ended the crocodile’s suffering by smashing its skull with its claws.

Something attacked the albertosaurus from behind, grabbing it by the neck. The other deinosuchus in fact had regathered its strength in the meantime and had launched himself against the dinosaur taking advantage of its distraction.

The albertosaurus roared trying to shake the deinosuchus off, but it was impossible. Then it opted for another strategy: it climbed on the crocodile and made force on its hind legs, crushing it with its weight.

Rivulets of blood began to come out of the deinosuchus’ mouth, but it didn’t let it go and instead clenched its jaws with all the strength it had. Both of them felt their jaws ache from the immense pressure they were being subjected to, but despite this they continued to apply even more force, without even a second’s pause.

It had become a matter of endurance: between the two of them, whoever would have resisted more would have won, and the other would have died.

After about ten minutes Sobek began to wonder if they would have stayed in that position all day, but suddenly the crocodile let the dinosaur’s leg go and fell to the ground panting, spitting hectoliters of blood from his jaws. It wasn’t dead yet, but it was clear it wouldn’t have lasted long. By now, it was clear that the fight had been won by the albertosaurus.

Sobek decided it was finally time to intervene more actively. Even though he could have waited a little longer and let the two animals kill each other for good, he wanted to at least participate a little in that brawl. He had a pride too: what would he have looked like if he had stayed on the sidelines like a coward even if he was a gigantic predator? He certainly couldn’t behave like that when he aimed to steal the throne of king of the dinosaurs from the t-rex!

By now he was no longer in any danger after all. The albertosaurus was tired and injured and the deinosuchus was nearly dead; it was his turn to come and steal the victory!

The albertosaurus barely heard a series of thuds behind itself and noticed a large figure out of the corner of its eye before a giant claw hit its head and split its skull. Death was quick and painless. As for the deinosuchus, it had already fainted from blood loss, so it didn’t even realize it was dying when a huge paw completely crushed its head, reducing its brain to mush.

Sobel roared triumphantly: in the end, he was right! Three albertosaurs and five deinosuchus in one swoop: that was the biggest and richest booty he had ever obtained! He never expected to be able to achieve so much in one fell swoop! "Thank you God! At last it seems that you have decided to give me a hand!" he thought beaming as he began to eat them.

When he finished, the result was astonishing: each albertosaurus had given him 6 skill points and each deinosuchus had given him 5. Adding up the ones he already had, he now had 55 skill points in total! He had never reached a similar figure even during the dozens of days spent hunting non-stop before evolution!

skill points. An impressive amount, without any precedent. Considering that the skill he intended to improve needed 15 skill points for each advancement, and that he was already at level 3/5, he finally had the chance to take it to the maximum!

"Let’s not waste time! Give me the invincibility!" he thought as he spent a lot of his skill points to finally maximized [Reinforced skin]. As soon as he finished, he felt an adrenaline rush: he had no way to test it, but he felt that his skin had become so hard that he could repel bullets as if they were thrown against a wall! No, it could even withstand high-powered weapons like bazookas or machine guns!

He was too happy. He really felt invulnerable! Let the tyrannosaurs come now: their bites wouldn’t even have bothered him! The t-rex could now only bow and abandon its throne: he was the new absolute ruler of all creatures!

The new king of the dinosaurs was born! Indeed, it would have been more correct to say emperor of the dinosaurs! The kings of all kings, no, the predator of all predators!

"Giganotosaurs, carcharodontosaurs, tyrannosaurs, all of you, come here if you have the balls! You don’t act so high and might anymore now, huh?" Sobek laughed coarsely, and every creature nearby had probably been terrified by his verses. He clearly saw many lizards, small mammals and small dinosaurs fleeing in all directions or taking shelter under bushes or holes in the ground, and birds, pterosaurs and bats flying out of the canopies of nearby trees. "Yes, yes! Good, good!" he laughed even more in his mind. "Run! Flee if you can! Escape from the power of Sobek, the predator of all predators!"

Unable to restrain himself, he slammed his paws hard on the ground and rising to his enormous height he roared skyward with all his might. "Tyrannosaurs, kneel before yout new boss! Triceratops, put your head down! Ankylosaurs, kiss the ground where I walk on! Prostrate now, all of you, or I will erase you with a single gesture! No one will ever challenge the new king of the dinosaur, ever again!"

It took a while for Sobek to calm down and get back to thinking clearly. Even once he appeased his vainglory, however, he still felt that extraordinary feeling of euphoria. The awareness that he was now devoid of natural enemies pervaded him with absolute happiness as if it were a fire that he couldn’t extinguish.

He looked back at the System. He had already spent 30 skill points, but thanks to the albertosaurs and the deinosuchus he had 55! That meant that even after maximizing [Reinforced skin], he still had 25 skill points that he could still use! And he knew exactly how to use them. He upgraded [Powerful bite] once!

As the skill level increased to 1/5, Sobek felt his muzzle change. Even though the appearance remained the same, he could sense that his muscles had grown stronger, his bones had become robuster, and his teeth had turn much sharper and harder, suitable for biting and tearing.

He had only updated it once and yet he felt that his bite had improved dozens of times. Once he took it to the max he could finally taste the power of a bite stronger than the one of a t-rex! No, even better: a bite stronger than any other the nature ever created! Deinosuchus, sarcosuchus, purussaurus: all of them would have looked adorable compared to him as soon as he took also that skill to level 5/5! 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦

He didn’t even dare to imagine what sense of power it could provide.

Indestructible skin, near-instant regeneration, remarkable speed, extraordinary strength, stealth beyond any other animal, deadly claws, and, when he maximized it, the strongest bite that ever existed; who in the world could call themselves a more powerful predator than him?

Unless he went into the ocean and met a megalodon... but what was he thinking? Even a megalodon was now a challenge that he could accept without problems! Defeating the largest shark that ever existed would have been like catching a small, adorable, harmless fish!

He was without any doubt the most powerful superpredator ever in the world!

While his heart beated wildly, Sobek rose to his full fearful height and roared to the sky for another time, unable to contain his excitement further. The whole world seemed to tremble to his power.
