Unlike the rest of the world, where propaganda and rumors often downplayed the reality of war, the people of Odaria had firsthand experience what a conflict with dinosaurs meant and the very thought of losing other children, friends and parents terrified them. Therefore they could not be happier that Sobek and their leaders had restored peace.
