After scouring the rooms in the dormitory for almost an hour, Leon found over a hundred female students carefully wrapped in fine silk webs until they suffocated.

Only eleven survived until he arrived and freed them. As for the rest, they were sucked dry of their blood and nutrients, becoming egg shells for little spiders to grow from.

Leon had shivered at the sight, and remembered the unconscious girls who were still breathing and resting upstairs.

A light frown crossed his lips.

"I definitely can’t transport them to the field house all by myself."

He sighed, then sat on the ground, resting his back on the wall and placing the black greatsword beside him. That thing was still heavy to carry, so he decided it was time to use his free stat points.

Grabbing the hilt of the greatsword, he rose to his feet and lifted it up.

Although he still felt the weight, it wasn’t as overbearing as it was previously. He could now wield it without straining too much.

A casual swing shook the air fiercely, fueling Leon with glee. He could tell that the damage caused by this weapon would definitely not be meager.

Thyra smiled, watching him play with the greatsword like a kid finding a new toy.

Leon strained to tear off his gaze from that detail, then quickly changed the topic.

"I should go check on those girls if they’re still unconscious."

Thyra merely giggled, sensing his inner struggle.

"Alright. I’ll wait out here. Don’t do anything bad to those defenseless bunnies, okay?"

Leon didn’t even answer. He just ran upstairs as fast as he could, haunted by Thyra’s giggles.

Selene, Reymond, Samson, and Gwen returned to the field house after taking the necessary drugs from the pharmacy. Although they also wanted to branch the restaurants, there was no one to help them with the load, so they postponed going there.

When they returned, they realized that Leon had gone to the male dormitory and rescued some students, also returning with enough clothes.

Fortunately, the electric lamps and bulbs were powered by solar panels and hadn’t been affected by the interrupted power supply.

The next morning, everyone woke up one by one, only to find Reymond pacing around worriedly while Gwen tried to calm him down.

"What’s going on with you brats? Why is he panicking?"

Samson asked in a displeased voice as he was stirred awake by the murmurings.

Gwen turned to him with a worried look. "It’s Selene. She left early this morning."

Samson frowned. "She went out alone? Sigh, that girl is really something else."

He stood up, then walked up to Reymond and patted his shoulder.

"Don’t worry, boy. Your girlfriend will be fine. She must have gone to the female dormitory. Let’s go look for her."

The brown-haired young man froze, looking at Samson with wide eyes.

"G-girlfriend?! No, it’s not like that!"

Samson rolled his eyes and walked past him. "Whatever. Let’s get going."
