The Devil Who Claimed Me

Dominic’s hands held her firmly, one at her waist, the other pressing against her back, anchoring her there. Then, with a startling motion, he entered her.

Mila gasped, gripping his shoulders tightly. Her eyes closed. She didn’t fully surrender, but couldn’t resist him either. She found herself caught somewhere in between.

And when he started moving, her resistance threatened to crumble.

His lips found hers again.

Mila tried to resist. Her hands pushed against his shoulders, her body tensing, her mind screaming at her to stop this, to pull away, to fight him.

But his touch, his kiss, made it impossible. Her resistance began to falter. Her body leaned toward him unwittingly. Her fingers, once pushing him away, slowly curled into his shoulders instead.

Every place he touched felt like it was set on fire, making her legs tighten instinctively around him.

A soft, broken sound slipped past her lips before she could stop it.

He moved again.

Her body was still trembling faintly, not fully recovered. Mila’s eyes widened slightly. She shook her head weakly in protest, her strength gone.

But it didn’t matter. He didn’t stop. His hold remained firm, keeping her exactly where he wanted her.

She thought she couldn’t take it. But her body reacted again.

Another tremor ran through her. Another helpless sound escaped.

She hated how she couldn’t control herself, hated how he could use her body as he wished.

Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes—not from pain, but from the overwhelming mix of emotions she couldn’t sort through.

She was confused. How could she lose her control to him, her abductor?

It was terrifying, and at the same time, humiliating.

Her body betrayed her again and again. She cried louder and louder every time the overwhelming orgasm hit her.

At last, she dropped her head on his shoulder, exhausted, her strength gone.

Her body was too drained to even resist anymore.

Dominic still held her as if he had no intention of letting her go.

"Look at you," he murmured. "You kept resisting, pretending you didn’t want this. And yet, you surrendered yourself completely to me."

Mila looked at him, her chest tightening. "Is that all I am to you?" she whispered. "Something you enjoy breaking?"

He didn’t answer. His eyes held hers, dark and unreadable.

"I hate it when you talk like that."

The words were cold and detached, as if shutting something down inside himself.

He lowered her to her feet.

Mila’s legs trembled. She nearly collapsed. But his arm wrapped around her instantly, steadying her.

"What is it? You can’t even stand without my support?"

Mila glared up at him, tears blurring her vision. "You did this to me."

He quirked his lips. "Good. At least, you accept it honestly."

He leaned in and whispered, "I like it when you are honest with me."

Taking a fresh towel, he wiped her gently, then carried her out. He put her on the bed.

"Wait here." He strode away.

Mila didn’t move, her body still sensitive, the aftermath lingering. She felt hollow, drained.

Dominic returned after some time with a hair dryer in his hand. "Don’t sleep with wet hair. You will catch a cold."

Mila extended her hand to take it.

"Let me do it," he said, already plugging in and turning it on.

Mila blinked, startled by his gentle words.

He ran his fingers through her wet hair as he blew the warm air.

Mila stilled. She hadn’t expected this.

"If you behave, I’ll take care of you. I’ll erase all the obstacles from your way and fulfil all your demands. Just don’t try to get away from me. You should stay by my side and be loyal to me. Understood?"

She looked up at him. "I am your maid. I don’t have the right to go against you. Of course, I’ll stay."

His hand paused. His eyes darkened. For a moment, he stared at her coldly.

Neither of them spoke. Then he turned off the hair dryer, tossed it aside, and left the room.

Mila’s shoulders sagged. Slowly, stealthily, tears streamed down her cheeks.

The next morning...

Knock-Knock-Knock...

The sound pulled Mila from her sleep. She blinked, disoriented, glancing around the room.

The other side of the bed was untouched and cold. It was clear Dominic had not slept there.

’He didn’t return last night.’

The door knocked louder this time.

"Coming." She forced herself up and walked to the door.

She was surprised to see Valentina.

Valentina’s gaze swept over her.

She had seen how Dominic had pulled Mila inside his room last night. She had even overheard the maids gossiping about the voices coming out of Dominic’s room.

Her stomach twisted in resentment. Dominic was the man she had loved and wished to be with for so long. But years of togetherness weren’t enough to grab his attention.

He had never looked at her the way he looked at Mila. Instead, he would give himself to someone he had just met a few days ago.

Valentina’s heart burned with the sense of injustice. She could never let them grow closer.

"Sleeping in?" she sneered. "As his personal maid, shouldn’t you be up early preparing his breakfast?"

"I’ll go now," Mila said quietly, stepping aside.

"There is no need," Valentina said sharply. "Your time here is almost over. Soon, he will discard you and stop protecting you. Do you know why?"

Mila felt chills pricking her skin as she feared Dominic had found out she was working for Marco.

"His first love is coming back," said Valentina.

Mila froze, her ears ringing. "First love?"

"Yes. Alejandro’s daughter, the one Dominic loved crazily."
