The Devil Who Claimed Me

Valentina stepped toward her, her sharp gaze lingering on the trio for a moment.

"Now what?" she asked.

Mila let out a long breath, the tension finally leaving her shoulders. "First, I want to rest. I did so much today. I finally got my revenge."

Valentina’s gaze softened. "I never thought you went through all that."

"It’s all the past now." Mila turned to her. "I don’t want to ruin my mood remembering those things. You must be tired. Go and rest."

With that, she went to her room.

Valentina, however, couldn’t rest yet. She had to secure Mila’s safety first. Pressing her phone against her ear, she went out of the house.

After a long shower, Mila came out of the bathroom, her damp hair falling over her shoulders. The warmth of the water had eased her body.

She thought she would talk to Dominic. The moment his name crossed her mind, her lips curled.

She picked up her phone, her fingers scrolling through the screen, pausing over his name. She was just about to call when two strong arms wrapped around her waist from behind.

Mila stiffened instantly, her breath catching in surprise.

"Missing me?" His low voice brushed against her ear.

The tension in her body melted almost instantly. A small smile formed on her lips.

She was missing him. But she wouldn’t admit it so easily.

"Who said that?" she asked quietly.

"I can feel you even from a distance."

Mila rolled her eyes lightly. "That sounds dramatic."

Dominic smirked and turned her toward him. "Waiting for me, aren’t you?"

"Don’t be delusional." She shoved at his chest and tried to walk past him.

But he stepped in front of her, blocking her way effortlessly.

"I am not. I can tell you were missing me and wanted to call me. But I appeared before you called me."

Mila couldn’t say anything. Because he was right. But she still refused to give in that easily.

"I wasn’t calling you. I wanted to check on Valentina."

Dominic lifted his hand and gently pinched her chin, tilting her face up toward him.

"I’ve told you before," he said softly, his gaze locking onto hers, "don’t lie to me. You can’t."

Mila couldn’t hold it in anymore. She laughed softly. "You win. I was missing you," she finally accepted.

He smirked.

"But how are you here?" she asked, curiosity replacing her teasing. "Weren’t you busy?"

"I finished everything early," he said. "So I could come to you."

Mila wrapped her arms around his neck. "Thank you for sending Alex. Without him, it would have been difficult for me to convince the board."

As she spoke, her breath caressed his skin.

Dominic’s desire flared. He could barely hold himself back.

"Anything for you, my love." His lips captured hers in a slow, lingering kiss.

The moment their lips met, everything else faded.

Mila felt the shift in him instantly.

His body tenses, his muscles tight. It was clear he wanted her, and she wanted him.

Mila’s fingers tightened around his shoulders. She kissed him back. Her breath grew uneven, her body leaning into him, seeking more, asking without words. She parted her lips, urging him to deepen the kiss. But he pulled back slightly.

His lips trailed slowly along her jaw, down the curve of her neck unhurriedly.

Mila shivered, her head tilting slightly, giving him more access without even realizing it.

"Dominic..." she whispered, her voice already tinged with impatience.

A faint, knowing smile touched his lips against her skin. He felt it. But he didn’t give in.

His fingers traced along her arm slowly, almost teasing. Every touch sent a quiet spark through her, building something she could no longer ignore.

"Take me, Dominic," she whispered.

He pulled back just enough to look at her.

Her cheeks were flushed, her eyes dazed, her breath uneven.

"You are beautiful," he murmured.

She clasped his shirt. "I want you."

"What is the rush?" He smirked, brushing his knuckles down her cheek. "Let’s take it slowly."

"Why? Why take it slowly?" she breathed, her voice breaking.

"I want to remember this," he said quietly. His thumb brushed her lower lip. "Every second."

Mila’s heart skipped. The warmth, the closeness, the way he looked at her—it was too much.

She could barely hold herself back.

"Dominic..." This time, her voice carried a plea.

He kissed her again, deeper this time.

It drove her restless. Her hands moved against him, pulling him closer, trying to close the distance he kept maintaining.

Dominic only tightened his hold slightly. "You are impatient," he murmured against her lips.

"And it’s because of you."

A soft, low chuckle escaped him. "Enjoy every moment, my love."

His lips brushed hers again, more intensely.

Her resistance melted fast as his hands roamed around her body, touching her teasingly. Electric sparks filled her nerves.

Dominic led her to the bed. He watched her, drinking in her beauty.

Mila’s chest rose and fell, her body burning with need. She arched herself toward him, pulling him in closer.

He knew what he was doing to her. His smirk deepened as he lowered his head and took her breast into his mouth. His hand moved down, brushing her thigh.

Mila’s spine tingled. She closed her eyes, parting her legs.

His fingers inched slowly, deliberately toward her core.

Anticipation was high. Mila’s heart raced. Her body was hot and sensitive. She wanted nothing but to feel him.

"Dominic." She pulled him even closer, her fingernails digging into his back. "Stop teasing. I want you."

Dominic’s eyes darkened. That was what he had been waiting for.

Then finally, he was inside. This time, there was no holding back.

He no longer denied her. He matched her.

Mila’s breath broke, a helpless sound escaping her as the tension he had built for so long finally unraveled. Her fingers tightened against him.

"Dominic..." His name escaped her lips again.

"Say it," he demanded as he pushed harder and harder. "Say that you want me."

"I want you," she whispered. "All of you."

He leaned closer, his lips grazing hers, but not kissing. "Say that you love me."

"I love you," she breathed.

"Beg me..."

"Please, Dominic..." she pleaded. "Don’t stop, please..."

He kissed her harder this time as he quickened his pace further.

"Uh..." she cried as waves of pleasure crashed through her.

He didn’t stop. He kept pumping her harder and harder. His muscles stiffened. Then he stilled for a moment, and the release hit.

With a groan, he collapsed onto her.

Mila clung to him, her strength gone, her body still trembling faintly from the aftershock of it all.

Dominic’s hand moved slowly along her back, no longer teasing, just holding her there, keeping her close.

"I love you too," he whispered and pressed a gentle kiss against her forehead.

Mila smiled, snuggling into his chest.
